  1. It seemed odd to me how quickly the wind ramped up and then died within such a short period of time. Similar to a storm rolling through, but with clear skies.
  2. Non-snow question real quick - for those that have weather stations, did any of you have a sudden, short spike in wind gusts between 4:00AM - 5:00AM? As I've stated before, my station is not set at a location to accurately measure wind speed. In fact, since I've had my current station up and running the past 3 years, my top wind gust recorded is 22.6mph. All night, my wind was between calm and 1.8 mph. From 4am to 5am, I had multiple gusts approaching 15mph. Judging from what I "heard", I'd guess the actual gusts were in the 30mph range or so. Did anyone else record this? As quickly as the winds came, they went back to calm in less than an hour.
  3. Those bands and subsidence zones can't be accurately nuanced at this point, but it's a little concerning to see it over nearly the same area on multiple short term models.
  4. Need to shove that snow anus about 50 miles east for me to feel better about this.
  5. Every time I see a map from DT it's immediately followed by a headache.
  6. Don't kid us...we all see the enhancement over Rouzerville...
  7. In his text with the map he did say that most in the 3-6" range would likely get 3" or 4".
  8. @paweather AccuWeather is calling for 1-2" in Palmyra tomorrow night.. ...and only a "Coating to 1" for Maytown.
  9. You get full props, you posted the entire text. Cash for the win!
  10. I'm okay with that. Especially if they're training.
  11. I left out the part where Millersville thinks that Franklin county gets 8" and Palmyra gets <1"
  12. MU's take: Snow will overspread the Lower Susquehanna Valley between ~ 7 and 11 p.m. Thursday evening and end around or shortly before daybreak Friday. I expect a general 2-4 inches across the region, but 5-6 inches is possible in the higher terrain of southern York and LanCo.
  13. Huffy? Not even close. You have had a tendency in the past to go on negative runs and there was a quick succession of posts from you headed that way. I just wanted to remind you that you cleaned up last year and to keep everything in perspective. I'm sorry if I came across in a bad way. Truly.
  14. Used to be that the Ukie almost always was in line with what the Euro showed, but no more. Last year he Ukie was erratically bad and this year it looks like more of the same.
  15. I didn't see the precip panels but read a few posts in another thread that even where there isn't much if any snow depicted, there was still .2" - .3" of precip.
  16. @Bubbler86take the PBP, I'm trying to multitask anyway.
  17. 12z NAM 12k has snow confined to western PA with the low centered just east of Charlotte at 7pm tomorrow evening.
