I was going to post/speculate the same thing yesterday but I stopped myself because I've mentioned that several times this year already and I'm not sure how accurate it is. Plus - with or without rain, I've been consistently warmer than most in Lanco.

I had no clue some areas got rain overnight. Congrats to those who did!

Last I checked MU was also at 87. Yes, I'm usually a couple of degrees warmer. Today was an interesting day as my temp climbed very slowly during the midday hours, and then spiked 4 degrees between 2pm and 3pm. And since then, it's dropped off back down to 87.

Day #31 - just reached the high for today so far at 92.

87 in Maytown approaching 1pm.

I'm falling behind...up just one notch in the past hour, now at 85.

Just past 11am and it's 84 in Maytown.

I ended up hitting 89 yesterday, so with full sun today I should reach the 90s.

64 for the low in Maytown. That is right at the average for today's date.

I bust away from all of them...because we've seen so many over the years, my reaction has tempered somewhat...I'm still not looking to spend time in their vicinity. I got a guy at work who drives a delivery truck - dude is like 7'3" 320 lbs, rides a Harley and looks just like the kind of guy you hope you don't run into late at night in a dark alley. In reality, he's an amazing person and as gentle as they come. Well, I was telling him about the river trail and so he and his wife decided to go for a bike (pedal type, LOL) ride down there. He came in to work one Monday all exasperated and cussing me up and down for not telling him he might see snakes. Apparently there was a black racer on the trail, he came across it, and in his words "Mike, I screamed like a baby and wrecked my f'ing bike right then and there."

Can I also just add how much I'm afraid of snakes? My wife and I see them on the river trail - usually black racers but a few copperheads. My wife is fascinated enough to move towards them...at least that's what she tells me. My old self is busting my a** running away.

Attention Phillies fans - new game show premiered last night in Allentown, "The Bryce Is Right."

That's at least 3 events in a row that you got the better of me in the rain department. Took a long time but the drops are bouncing your way now.

2 day rainfall total in the historic district amounted to .20" - many areas of Lanco got much, much more. Win some, some you don't.

Paweather might want his Phillies chute, otherwise, the star will provide me with an easy target. LOL

Wife and I were out back relaxing late Saturday night and we both heard the familiar "woosh" sound just before midnight - the skydivers were doing a late summer night jump. They had flashing lights on them as they descended. The sky was clear at the time...it was really cool watching them come down in the darkness. First time I've seen them jump that late at night.

Picked up .20" earlier this morning...but yeah, that area south of Mount Joy has been getting a lot more than in Maytown.

I'm starting to come around to this thinking. You clobbered my total. I could tell that you got drenched. LOL

The greatest one-season improvement in MLB history is held by the Diamondbacks. They went from 65 to 100 wins in their first 2 years of play. The O's have currently won 11 more games than all of last year with 41 games left. They need to go 25-16 to claim the #1 spot for most improved team ever. Given the remaining schedule, that seems like a dream. But they've been a dream already.

I watched a radar loop from early this morning and a batch of rain went JUST south of me. Maybe today... Yes they did! I was afraid they'd get embarrassed in the spotlight. Nothing seems to faze this team at all. They don't carry themselves like they're supposed to suck. LOL
