  1. Philly has a very loyal, passionate fanbase though. I think that game honestly is one of the more marquee matchups out there. And then there's the Super Bowl victory redemption thing.
  2. I mean...if I could draw it up that benefited me the most, that's exactly what I'd want. I'll gladly take what I get.
  3. All very true, other than I'm at 23 right now. Right about where projected.
  4. Surprised they put Brady on at 1pm. Would have though the Bucs got a more lucrative time slot. Especially against Philly.
  5. It sort of looks like a March 93 track without the strength. Lowest pressure as depicted now doesn't come close to the Superstorm. (not that this storm cannot have major impacts of course)
  6. That's me. I'm the one that used to fly across the country to watch the Indiana Hoosiers play when Robert Montgomery Knight was head coach.
  7. My wife has LONG since grown tired of me mimicking his pressers.
  8. We recognize the challenges in front of us playing in a hostile environment. We take no sympathy, nor do we seek comfort. It's AFC playoff ball. The standard is still the standard until it's not the standard anymore. I'm appreciative of the guys, the effort from the guys, and man...I've still never had a losing season. I get paid to win, and that's all I do. Questions? LOL
  9. Ukie looks south to me but it's hard for me to discern very well. And, that commentary is prior to what happens when it reaches the coast.
  10. Indeed, this is a pretty sweet track for the 'Burg. Hopefully the Black and Gold can get back in town after their huge upset win in KC.
  11. GFS continues the big daddy theme but with a track that will maul true Central PA at the expense of a lot of taint in the LSV.
  12. I'll say this...all credit to Bennett. After that unfortunate turnover that led to the Tide's go ahead TD, he promptly took his team down the field with a huge exclamation point. Big time drive and I was thrilled to see it.
  13. Last night they did. It's not very common, either. I took the trash out last evening and when I opened the front door, it was a virtual whiteout. Lasted no more than a few minutes but things quickly whitened up.
  14. 16 here this morning. Nice to see it snow last evening.
  15. Surprise! Just got a dusting of snow from a brief but rather intense snow shower. Wasn't expecting that. Temp is 22.
  16. It's fine but if you do it again you're one and done on model analysis. LOL
  17. This is for the Saturday wave? Edit: I just saw it. Meh...it really did weaken that thing as it approached the coast.
  18. Probably right. I posted that just to remind all of us that while the pattern is really good, it's not a guarantee for anything. I think it was after the twin blizzards in Feb 2010 that the pattern thereafter was epic, and there was talk of more blizzards to follow. And while northeast of here got a good storm near the end of the month, that epic pattern produced very little here after Feb. 10th.
  19. Only if they save face and go 2-15 some season. And that's the problem right there.
  20. MU update: As the Arctic high pressure system moves off to our east and a Clipper-like system tracks across southeastern Canada, more seasonably chilly air will return for Wednesday and Thursday. However, I see signs that the pattern may become increasingly more favorable for potential snow and wintry weather in the East between ~ January 15-25. A bulge northward in the Jet Stream across western North America may occur in conjunction with the return of Greenland blocking. By January 19 or 20, that blocking may very well become centered just to the south and west of Greenland -- a classic "west-based," negative North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO). As I've explained in previous discussions, this Jet Stream configuration is a "snow-lovers dream" and often present leading up to and during major winter storms in the mid-Atlantic. However, here's a word of caution. Even if this pattern does come to fruition, it doesn't guarantee that we'll receive a moderate or major snowstorm. I've seen several instances where snow has failed to occur in this favorable setup. The probability increases, but we're still just talking about a word that nobody has ever shoveled -- "potential."
  21. I'm too old now to figure out how old I'll be then. I just know that I'll be waiting for the Orioles to be relevant and for the Process to be completed then.
  22. I was like...why is he responding to my post like this? LOL How about...2018. (My wife was in Boone, NC during the storm and met Jim Cantore)
  23. SE forum is starting the December 2918 talk. (that storm dropped a couple of feet in the mountains of SW VA and NC)
