The latest measurable snowfall on record at @millersvilleu occurred on #April19, 1983. With no snow on the horizon, I can officially say that the 2022-2023 winter season is now the least-snowy on record! Only 0.9" of snow fell, shattering the previous record of 4.0" in 1949-1950.

I saw a picture from Kane this morning - nice little dusting of snow up there. Haven't seen that strange substance down here since January...

49 degrees at 12:10pm. This is the spring high school sports weather I remember for many years in the past.

I do think it's looking more and more evident that the rest of the month will have enough cool spells that we fall short of the record so I will likely be losing my shekels on that front.  And as for rain, not much to speak of around here.  We got .12" for the entire weekend.  Seems like many of the same places that were the most severely shafted with snow totals are getting screwed in the rain department as well.  Not much on the horizon either.

In other news, Death Valley and Peter Sinks secured their rightful places atop the throne with the national high and low of 98 and 8, so all is right with the world. 

I thought about that fact all weekend long.

Estimated rain for today is off as it says I got 3/4" and I got nowhere near that...I got a grass watering 1/3".    Says you got 1/3" as well. 

 

 

That's more than double the actual .15" that fell.

Hopefully those who got missed today get something tomorrow night or this weekend will go down as a huge disappointment.

Absolutely uncanny how we just got missed. Raining in all directions around us but nothing here.

.15" fell here from a storm at 6am. Right now it's 70 under partly sunny skies.

High today was 82 in Maytown. Right now it's 70.

Seeing a lot of 92-94 degree readings in the NYC metro area and in CT.
