  1. Tim Buckley @TimBuckleyWX · 33m Wouldn't shock me a bit if we see some sleet pellets or even a few wet snowflakes in parts of the Piedmont early Thursday morning. We'll be cold and dry, and sometimes that gets some sleet going at the beginning. Seeing it in Alabama and Tennessee today
  2. 65 and sunny in Winston. Prepare for imminent frost and freeze
  3. It's small, but there's a bit of a wintry mix showing up on radar over the @GreatSmokyNPS ! Just shows you how cold it is aloft. #wncwx #ncwx https://t.co/J15hpgEMSZ

  5. Now, average highs have dipped into the 60s, so highs in the 70s from now on will be above average.
  6. Christian Morgan: It's that time where we start looking for our first freeze. For the Triad, it's usually around Oct 28th. On average, about a week earlier north and west. For Greensboro, it has come as early as Oct 2nd or as late as Dec 1. I don't see us getting to 32° over the next week. #ncwx https://t.co/xvPVw75DA1
  7. Already in the 40s in the Triad. 30s are attainable
  8. First below-average temperature day in #Charlotte since September 27th, 19 days ago. #cltwx #ncwx #wcnc https://t.co/iwQIsx6drn
  9. To turn the heat on tonight, or not. That is the question.
  10. Charlotte had its first 30s of the season this morning
  11. Ethan Clark: Yesterday, let’s just say an extreme overachiever. Parts of Raleigh saw 6-8” in a matter of a few hours. All creeks reached flood stage, numerous sections of the greenways are closed with damage. Several water rescues reported, 500 year flooding event in spots. @RaleighGov #ncwx https://t.co/k0NKKpchUZ
  12. Is Crabtree Valley insurable? http://twitter.com/sarahrudlang/status/1446913307881971720
  13. As of 8 AM this morning, 4.65 inches of rain had already fallen for the day at Raleigh-Durham International Airport. While the day is far from over, the daily record rainfall for today has already been broken. It previously was 3.97 inch of rain in 1894. #ncwx
  14. Not certain if you meant the entire Southeast, but the Triad had a frost on November 3. Additionally, it got down to 30 degrees on November 19.
  15. Average highs have slipped back into the 70s now
  16. I think almost all of NC west of the fall line has been below 50 degrees this month.
