  1. Finally finished snowing here. 14.4” is the final tally since last night. Now up to 58.7” on the season and a solid 19” OTG. Feels like deep deep winter here.
  2. Another 1.8” so storm total of 14.0” on the dot. Still snowing lightly. What an awesome surprise storm here. Got about triple what was forecast. Average snow depth is about 19 inches here. Was driving all over this afternoon. No doubt just south of here a few miles in Angola on the Lake there was another 4-5” over what we had here so they’re probably close to 20”.
  3. 12.2” storm total here now. Snowing at 1”\hr still and picking up a bit even.
  4. 13” in Angola just a few miles down the road from me at 8am. Wow. ...Erie County... Angola 13.0 in 0800 AM 01/23 COCORAHS
  5. 10.6” and still snowing. Stuff is pure fluff. May end close to a foot when all is said and done. Just awesome!
  6. Up to 8.7. Still snowing at an inch per hour. Overachiever here. Depth is around 16-18 “. Beautiful morning.
  7. They just changed the advisory to a warning for S Erie County. Additional 4-6” expected.
  8. 6.4” new here since last night and just DUMPING. Very nice band. RGEM nails another one.
  9. Dude it’s raking here. Looks like about 3” otg new and snowing 2-3”/hr . Sit in place for a couple more hours and I’d be one happy dude. This and a Bills win tonight couldn’t get much better.
  10. I’m right in the line from the nuts to the shaft. Will have to see what happens but if everything goes right there could be a lot of white stuff around here.
  11. Slashed totals pretty good. If I see 6” here I’d be thrilled. Even the 06z RGEM and 3k NAM look like crap.
  12. First subzero on the year here. Down to -3. I’m not sold on tomorrow nights lake effect. This looks like 3-5” for us but I’ll take it.
  13. Just measured 22.2” in East Amherst on Transit near Clarence Center Road.
  14. 11.1 inches and ripping 1.5”-2” an hour. This ain’t no lake effect fluff either, holy crap does this stuff have weight to it with the couple hours of sleet and freezing rain we had last night.
  15. Sleet with freezing rain here now. 23 degrees. That warm layer aloft must be deep to be getting rain at 23 degrees….
  16. All sleet here now. We’ll see how long it last. Ughh , sucks to be wasting the heaviest QPF on sleet but models were spot on with that warm layer aloft over much of the Thruway corridor. Hopefully it switches back to snow in the next hour or so but mix cc shows no sign of that anytime soon, in fact the mix area is growing by the frame.
  17. Getting lots more sleet here now. About 50/50 sleet snow mix. Big dry area moving due north over N PA heading right for us. Yikes.
  18. Wow low placement is EXACT over DCA and band placement and mixture looks exactly as progged. Getting some pingers in here too now but probably still 75% snow.
  19. Still all snow here with rates picking up again. 2” hr or so. Guessing around 6” or so here but not going out to measure till morning lol.
  20. Can tell it’s getting close to switching to sleet here. Flakes are much much wetter now. Just measured 4.6” already.
  21. About 3” an hour right now in Derby. INSANE out right now. Absolutley unreal. No idea how much on the ground haven’t measured but eyeballing 3-4” already. WOW!!!
