  1. Not including this storm, I'm at 13.5" so far.
  2. Still a sleet fest here. Making for an absolute mess.
  3. @rgwp96 1.25" and now it's ripping sleet. Looking like another underwhelming event (4-6" per NWS yesterday).
  4. These temps are only 20-25 degrees AN today though (excluding some outliers), whereas 30's in July would be over 50 degrees BN. A surge of warmth like this in winter is far more likely to occur than an "arctic outbreak" in July (in which 50's would even be a stretch). We almost always get thaws, but as Julian said, it's the fact that it's coming with beautiful sunny and dry conditions. This is more reminiscent of a mid-to-late march day.
  5. An annual Feb. torch is almost expected at this point. 58 here, and tomorrow should definitely top 60.
  6. And if nothing changes by the second week, I certainly would not count on March to make things up. Last year was a wild exception, and even that high monthly total was skewed by the major storm early on.
  7. -4° here. Brutal cold, but saw double digits out in western, NJ.
  8. Yeah it definitely was impressive. Now the cold comes in.
  9. I measured .75" out there. Down to 19 with a biting wind.
  10. Visibility down to 50 yards I'd say. Most impressive squall I've seen in awhile.
  11. Yeah me too. I'm not sure of any in my immediate area though. Probably end up watching it from back home later if I can.
  12. Most interested I've been in tracking a squall line for awhile.
  13. What is your seasonal total so far? I'm at 12.75" including today. Pretty amazing that we went through November, December, and basically all of January only to get a foot of snow. First week of February starting out warm too.
  14. I was just going to ask what you recorded before the changeover. I didn't have time to measure this morning. Can't believe we never switched back to snow.
  15. 33 here. Looks like it wants to switch over (some wet flakes mixing back in).
  16. 287 was covered really heavily. Clouds of dust like you mentioned, and of course people spraying their windshields with me behind them.
  17. To his point though, we know that going back over a month ago that the "weeklies" and "tellies" looked good.
  18. Well to be fair, we've all seen this story before. Believe it when I see it.
  19. All surrounding stations are 2" or greater for today. Yet another big rainstorm in the middle of winter.
  20. Yeah, we have a decent amount in the basement. Just way, way too much rain, and that glacier snowpack did not help anything either.
  21. It's interesting because when WU was incorporated on Intellicast things were fine. Now I have trouble even loading the site on all my devices, and some features, such as the hourly forecast, have not even been working.
