    Winds are brutal here...took the dogs out and gusts must be around 40+...I think we are going to have an eventful winter folks!

    We had a lot fall up here near Meat Camp...maybe the ground was too warm and the fact that the wind kept blowing it around...most of the snow was flying horizontally during the day here, WCS 2-hour delay, everything is icing up here, so bet they cancel school for students tomorrow

    put this on the obs. thread too.... Still snowing up here ATM...temps dropping rapidly...I am guessing no school for the kiddos in NW NC tomorrow-as I predict a lot of freezing/re-freezing overnight as some snow still falls. Winds are ripping

    Yes, my wife is on the Ski Patrol at Ski App...they've got several runs open and so does Sugar...I don't know if Beech has any open?
