  1. Just drove by. There appeared to be a few narrow stripes top to bottom.
  2. Technically speaking, what you and the guy who went out to western MD did was in violation of Hogan's order. I don't see how making a beer run qualifies as an essential reason, and clearly the spirit of the order is for local trips to places close by your house, not jaunts across the state. But yeah, the stay at home order isn't so onerous when you just ignore it...
  3. OK, glad to hear it. Others should take heed.
  4. Does needing alcohol require you to cross county lines and drive several hours to boutique liquor distributors? Doesn't seem to be within the spirit of Hogan's stay-at-home order designed to keep us all safe from the deadly, horrible virus.
  5. Sure is a lot of non-essential long distance travel for beer being discussed in this thread. Have you guys read Hogan’s order?
  6. "We still don't have enough tests" has become the new "hospitals are being overwhelmed" anecdotal talking point. There are many, many stories out now of testing sites being so empty they shut down and municipalities offering free tests to anyone who wants one.
  7. DE governor says no chance of getting to Phase I before June 1. As MD and VA start to open, DE digs in their heels. This is going to devastate the tourism industry at the beaches for many years. So many restaurants and bars will fold. 273 deaths so far with half of them in nursing homes... I guess this is all worth it.
  8. Not bad. Sort of like a spring time pumpkin ale vibe?
  9. Looks gross, to be honest.
  10. I will contact the administrator and he will address this ASAP. He is very busy so it could be several weeks.
  11. LOL nothing major happened.
  12. Send the mods a text about how mean I'm being and they will take action, don't you worry.
  13. I know. They need to open the thread back up. It's not harming anyone, and this idea absent Randy who posts here once a month is setting these rules is just about the silliest thing I have ever heard.
  14. I know you are really into setting specific rules and then adhering to them closely. You do you, Yoda.
  15. Don't worry, I love craft beer and other Baltimoron tropes too!
  16. I understand that, but it is possible to buy full homeschooling curricula online. If your kids can focus and learn from a talking head on a zoom, this could work out fine.
  17. Definitely also going to be stories of 2-4 year olds in daycares suffocating due to overly thick/tight masks they are forced to wear "for safety."
  18. If a kid starts coughing and refuses to put on a mask, decent chance he will be escorted off the school grounds by police or possibly cuffed. You all know this will happen.
  19. Kids already get arrested in school pretty frequently (more than the zero times it should be). https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2019/09/22/florida-cop-under-investigation-after-arresting-kids-6-and-8/2411142001/ https://www.theindychannel.com/news/local-news/johnson-county/9-year-old-arrested-and-handcuffed-at-elementary-school There are many such stories.
  20. There are going to be many reports of total meltdowns from parents and teachers once the schools reopen. A little kid is going to get arrested for hugging a classmate next school year, 100% guarantee. Schools are already pretty hysterical with the fear and zero tolerance stuff related to guns and violence. This is like tossing gasoline on the fire.
  21. If schools are only open 1 day a week you will be homeschooling anyway...
