  1. I used to be a high-gravity IPA fiend but as I got older the bloated feeling and calories just kinda turned me off. I still enjoy one every now and then. I have turned more to wine lately. Sometimes even mixed with sparkling water. Kind of a lady drink but it’s lighter and easier on my health, so I don’t care.
  2. In PA, this was the first election that mail-in ballots were opened to every single voter as an option. It is disingenuous to say that this has always been standard practice for a wide variety of voters. The number of people in these states who voted by mail has historically been a tiny fraction who were mostly military.
  3. Definitely different in MD. Sounds like MA is one of those states that has it figured out. Most states did. Just a few outliers.
  4. There are enormously more of them now, and they are not the same thing as absentee ballots, which you need to request. Many people get this mixed up.
  5. Oh man, VT was right with the quarantine for Coos!
  6. Haven't heard a thing about it here. Maybe down by the resort area?
  7. @UMB WX no need to hide. Join the discussion!
  8. No, I just haven't posted there in a year and a half. I will stop clogging up this thread. Message received.
  9. In fairness, none of the mainstream pundits had it anywhere near to this close.
  10. I think it's perfectly fair to take another look at the glut of mail-in ballots from singular urban cores that appear to be solely responsible for putting Biden over the top in WI, MI, and possibly PA. It isn't like a wide Biden margin across the states here. He's doing it all in Philly, Detroit, and Milwaukee on mail-in ballots that were dropped off in trucks. It's worth checking those, IMO. If we want to call this an unprecedented election due to COVID, that seems only fair.
  11. Seems perfectly normal: https://mkecitywire.com/stories/564495243-analysis-seven-milwaukee-wards-report-more-2020-presidential-votes-than-registered-voters-biden-nets-146k-votes-in-city Analysis: Seven Milwaukee wards report more 2020 presidential votes than registered voters; Biden nets 146K votes in city
  12. Yeah, they will be finding ballots for weeks I'm sure...
  13. Nevada will release "more" results tonight instead of tomorrow, "Due to high interest." Ya' think?? Who are these people running these election boards? This trickle stuff is a joke.
  14. Nothing to see there I’m sure. And we have never had delays like this.
  15. CNN called MI and Trump doesn’t appear to have a path there at this point. AZ is it. If he fails that check, it’s over pending some serious legal shenanigans.
  16. These delays in the vote tallies are kind of ridiculous now. PA saying they may not have “most” of their votes counted until Friday. NV holding their counts until tomorrow for seemingly no reason. Delays in AZ and MI too. I am not claiming a conspiracy per se, it’s highly probable these states are just incompetent. We need to be better than this either way. It does not inspire much confidence. They will be finding boxes of mail-in ballots for weeks.
  17. Yes, it is. No idea why people waste so much money on this nonsense.
  18. Even I was tired of them and I just got here!
  19. All that money wasted on the Maine Senate race, and Collins wiped the floor with her challenger. Polls never showed Collins leading and at times had her in a deep hole. What a bust.
  20. He needs to win those at about 57% to win the state. He was running at about 60% on the 300k votes counted last night. It’s a long shot but he could still squeak out a very narrow win there.
  21. There is a very real scenario where this all comes down to that split electoral vote in Nebraska that went to Biden. He can lose GA/NC/PA and win with exactly 270 EVs if he holds on in AZ/NV and wins MI.
  22. Over 600k votes remain uncounted in AZ. They are moving at a snail's pace to count them... for some reason. This stuff always leaves me pretty dubious about the effectiveness of these vote counters... Anyway, it will come down to the split in the kind of vote they are. I read that they are in large part "late earlies" which means they are ballots physically dropped off at an election site the day of the election by the voter instead of being mailed. Hard to say which way that breaks. Trump has dominated on the in-person stats, Biden the mail-in, as has been the case nationally. If Trump manages to win AZ, his odds suddenly go way up as PA still looks doable, albeit a total mess likely to be unknown for some time.
