0.00" of rain and 57 this morning. Frankly, surprised that I dropped below 60 given the late evening temps.

it dumped this morning in Harrisburg for a solid minute.

Anyone see the Mexican TV station airing of the mans Testicles?

I mowed for the 5th time yesterday.

I had to look up Diggerland after your post yesterday...I hope you and your son had a great day! Man, I wish this existed or I knew about it 25+ years ago when our oldest son was very young. He was a construction truck fanatic and would have gone nuts at Diggerland!

    #3 for me

Growing up, I went to Three Rivers once each summer with my uncle who was a Buccos fan. I was used to going to the Vet where big crowds were normal. We'd go out to Pittsburgh without tickets on a Sunday afternoon and I'd think we'd end up sitting up top in the outfield...nah. Some of those years we ended up right behind the dugout in the first row or two. Pirates drew very poorly considering how good they were back then. Pittsburgh has such a great baseball history but the city is definitely all about the Steelers.

Having said that...when they were a wild card team several years ago the city was juiced.

some of my fondest memories are being in Pittsburgh from the mid 70s through about 81. My dad and I Pirates fans. Our parents would take us twice a year, once when they played the Phils (brothers team) And then the Reds (My moms team) most times we'd be at all games from Friday through Sunday. We would stay at the Hilton on the other side of the bridge. Opposing teams always stayed there. My brother and i would ride the elevators getting autographs.

@sauss06 - can we please agree to never talk about the 1971 and 1979 MLB seasons?

    Thanks in advance! :)

Every school district in America because peak time is 3:20 and God forbid some asshole tenth grader looks out a school bus window into the sun without the 3D glasses on and singes his cornea, and the school board is out, the superintendent is out, and the newly-erected school board of ambulance chasers start coming for your property taxes to offset the one lawsuit to buy extra strength Visene for the moron kid.

I have 20+ clients spread out all around the Harrisburg area. Not a single one has had to mow yet although a few are now ready for a first mowing.

saturday was 2nd cut for me. My neighbors haven't mowed at all yet and its extremely noticeable between theirs and mine. It looks worse for them as she should have had 1 more cut in the fall, but hey, she's smarter then everyone else

Possibly 2 years.  Everything would need to be fast tracked.  From design(unless they already have one because they wanted to replace already), funding, permitting, contract bids, and the actual construction.  Even if everything went fine it will take months and months.

from some of my sources, Maryland is already working with penndot on all the documents they need since Pa just went through tis on I-95

I see a lot of people down talking the impact on Baltimore car and truck traffic.   The bridge handles 30-40K vehicles per day of which 80% are between the 12 hours between 7A and 7P meaning 2300-2400 additional vehicles each hour on I95 and 895 during the 12-hour stretch.     It is estimated it will cost 500 million to 750 million to rebuild though some permanent areas from the previous bridge may be usable and afford a lessening of that cost.

    serious economic impact
