I wonder if Sauss did his yard in the 50MPH gusts.
I need to mow and would have mowed, but i have at least 1 truck, maybe 2 of limbs that have fallen off my birch tree. I have them piled up to take to our township yard waste facility this weekend and then i can get mow 1 in. i'm assuming Mike will be getting numero 2 in

Winds knocked over a tree, which fell onto a home in Cumberland County, and killed a 45 year old man who was sleeping. Just absolutely horrific.
my company was at this incident.

Friday Nooners: 55°F, sunny, and my back went the whole way out so I'm trying to find the correct amount of drugs to make life bearable.

I have some stuff going on but if I get a chance, I'm mowing today. I have areas where my yard is out of control already.
i would mow today as well, but have afternoon plans. Maybe Sunday before wrestling
Just now, Itstrainingtime said:We've had flowers up for a week and a half. There are area of my yard that are >6" high.
If I do get to mow today, I will be the 3rd on my block this week to do so. I am behind some of my neighbors. One mowed last Sunday.
Yes me too. I'm thinking early weeding and tan barking

yesterday i saw a guy mowing the lawn at the Korean Church out the road from me. On the way out he was on the John Deere, on my way back in he had the push mower trimming. i kinda chuckled to myself, however when i got home and took the grandpuppy out, i looked around. There is parts of my yard that need mowed too.

MAG started this "I'm mowing for others" campaign, and I'll just say this right here, right now...mowing other people's yards is truly an incredibly kind and wonderful gesture. It really is. My hat tip goes to people who serve others like that. The world needs a lot more of those kind of people. So if I must concede the trophy this year for that type of service...easiest decision I've ever made.
ah, wait a minute. no kind gesture. Doing it for the trophy, the $30 per mow and the beer

You may recall how I feel about mowing.

Correct - I got in trouble in 7th grade English for staring out the window at the snow falling in Marticville. Mr. Musser didn't seem to understand the significance of May snow like I did.

College baseball bores me for some reason. I think it's the broadcasting, but I also think it's the metal bats. These kids are months away from the metal bats going bye bye, and really, the NCAA should make them go bye bye so there isn't that adjustment to wood.
That and I have yet to see or hear about some collegiate goliath hitting a 700 foot homer. That would change my opinion pretty goddamned fast.
And then I would petition for a brick wall between home and the mound to protect pitchers and introduce the metal bats to MLB so there is a race between Fernando Tatis, Jr., Vlad Guerrero, Jr., Ronald Acuña, Pete Alonso, Aaron Judge, and Giancarlo Stanton to the the first with a 1,000 ft blast.

I agree about the bats. I've been told its a money thing, which i call BS as you simply just get a sponsor to supply bats, just as they do now.

That is the correct answer. It is time to get the pool warmed up in time for consolations.

Yeah PCN lost the rights to Flo a few years back and it ruffled quite a few feathers. A shame that it's no longer available for free public viewing.

Apparently we have some terrified cats back home at the crib - my wife just texted to tell me that lightning just struck directly behind our house.
My daughter text me about 730 with a picture of her dog in the bath tub.

i will tell you about yesterdays wind. As i was walking out of the grocery store, a big gust blew a large shopping cart out of the cart staging receptacle and was rolling quickly across the parking lot.....................heading right at my truck. just as the words *@#$! *&^% !%^+#$ were coming out of my mouth, a good Samaritan sprinted and grabbed the cart.
