It was on Facebook, which I kicked to the curb years ago.
If you dig around the PennLive FB, assuming it still exists, you may find it.

Bunch of snowflakes in this thread. Can't even take someone sharing the fact that it's been one of the hottest and least snowiest years on record without flying off the handle. Funny, I bet some of these are "free speech" people.

I'm going to have to disagree. I don't think anyone here knew it was that bad in 2019-2020 & 2022-2023 in Harrisburg. I certainly didn't, as I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere.
did you fall and hit your head? i think EVERYONE here knows

Add me to the confirmation list. Went out for lunch with the fellas and was colder and just generally more miserable than I expected. What did they say our high should be today, because man it sure doesn't feel like we're getting there. Although I guess this is one of those scenarios where the temp rises after sundown due to WAA being more potent than diurnal drops.
i'm going home soon and starting a fire, pouring a couple fingers of Mr. Jim Beam. that'll take the chill off

56 at 1:30. Just came on from 2 hours out moving leaves around to the curb. You s think living in the city I would’ve have many - if I bagged these leaves I’d have 30+ bags.

I was REALLY happy to hear that you're going to the game on Saturday.
I'm going to rant, and I will move on with this post, and please understand that this is not at all directed at you - I have followed Penn State football for 50 years. I went to Penn State. I am all about PSU. I'm also upset, disappointed, sad, and yes, even a bit angry about where we're at right now. I was watching a video this week where students last Saturday were yelling things like "you suck" to the players as they headed for the south endzone. This saddens me even more than what happened during the game. There is so much negativity right now - most of it at JF, but when the students are turning on their fellow student athletes...sigh.
I had very, very high hopes this year. Though, I was also hedging a bit since we were starting an unproven QB. I was concerned that the expectations might exceed the reality. That has proven to be true. And I know that most of my fellow PSU fans don't want to hear this (I'm not sure I want to hear myself say this) but we are 8-2, with a chance for another 11 win season. My son and I were eating in downtown Pittsburgh Saturday night and there was a group of PSU fans adjacent to us that were at the Beav earlier in the afternoon. They were all bitching and moaning about the game, the server comes to their table and interrupts them and says "yeah, well, I'm a student at Pitt...do you have any idea how much we'd love to be 8-2 right now?
We (PSU Nation) wants to get to that elite level SO bad that I think it's jaded us somewhat. There are 128 FBS teams in the country. You have OSU, Georgia, Alabama who perennially are in the mix for the title. Schools like Michigan, Clemson, USC, Texas, are often "up there" but certainly not always. USC has been down a lot. Clemson is barely over .500 this year. Same with some of the Florida schools. Point is, there are only a very few teams that seem to reload consistently - there are many other storied schools, some of which I mentioned, that are perceived to be elite but really aren't consistently there. Shoot, even Michigan had struggled for a few years.
All that to say - there are literally tens of thousands of seats available for Saturday's game on PSU's Ticket Exchange, and the going price is less than $10. It's clear that many are disgusted and have checked out. Whatever. Good for you to go and represent. I'll be watching just like I do every week. It's my school and we're a helluva lot better than most schools in the country.
Although...we might lose to Rutgers...

Stillers are the worst 6-3 team in the history of professional sports. The Packers had 5 plays of 35+ yards on Sunday - 4 of them came on 3rd and long. The 5th was in the final minute with Jordan Love throwing essentially a hail mary to avoid a sack...except for the fact that the hail mary was to go a guy who had no one within the city limits covering him.
How this team keeps winning is beyond me. Well, they don't turn the ball over. That's one thing. And they can run it some now. Other than that...yeesh.
This past weekend was the best weather day that we've ever had. Low 50s and full sun in November. It was a glorious fall football Sunday in Pittsburgh.
It really is unbelievable. they find ways to win and somehow stay relevant for maybe a post season run. ( i chuckled when i typed that)
I was thinking of you Sunday while watching the game, i'm sure you had a good time on your annual visit.

Worcester, PA. Low this AM was 20.5. I'm in a tradionally cold spot so this is not unusual for such a morning. My son a few miles away was 21.5 so I think it is correct.
We need some rain. (or better yet - some snow, but have to keep it reasonable).
I believe i heard on ABC27 yesterday morning Harrisburg is 9" behind
