  1. Grew up and remain a Reds fan. Adopted the Orioles as my second team when I moved here in 2009. I literally laughed out loud when this note hit my timeline this AM - Yep. That tracks.
  2. That's what the middle 10 days of January are for...
  3. Starting at 1:00 pm Sunday???(trying to will something into existence on timing) Ah well, you all can thank me for making this reservation on Monday if we end up with a region wide drought buster...
  4. Doing a quick mid-afternoon arrival to overnight in Rehobeth Saturday - hoping the Euro is a hair off on timing - maybe delay onset of whatever that is gonna be until midday Sunday...
  5. Welcome! Also, in non new met news - had a bald eagle cruise past me about head high over by the bridge .7 miles south of Monkton Station on the NCR trail while I was walking my labs this AM. He/she landed on a branch about 30 yards from the bridge hanging over the river. Absolutely awesome in all respects. Breath-taking being that close to one.
  6. I saw an all orange one today - does that mean anything?
  7. Don't have a total but got several rounds of very hard rain in Fallston last evening into the overnight. Most welcome.
  8. Looks like healthy radar for south of DC - hoping for some scraps Baltimore north
  9. The Browns run defense is probably the best in the league. That's a nice win for the Ravens given how Cleveland drags teams into the mire. (obligatory reminder - Bengals fan here - so have decent perch to observe on all things AFC North)
  10. Altho they do fly strategically - they are impressively hard to stomp
  11. Green Bay's defense is absolutely ferocious now after the gift of getting Parsons. Add in short week and Green Bay being at home and it was a really very very hard task for Washington. Washington did much better than Detroit did last Sunday fwiw going up there - and on shorter turnaround.
  12. What a hilarious set of misses all day for the most part in Fallston.
  13. Awesome. Given that I want this for her use for data for the farm and her fields, I am glad to have it. It already arrived!
  14. Woo! Thanks Millville, that is the kind of info I was hoping to get - especially from a pro! Much appreciated. ETA- yep - that looks ideal. Went ahead and just pulled the trigger.
  15. Is the Davis Vantage Vue still the weather station that you all most recommend? looking for a good weather station to gift my girlfriend for the farm. If I go with the Davis, do I need to spend extra for their monitor for it ? I would think not - but wanted to make sure the data from it is available on an app or the like. if not the Davis, are there comparable stations to it that I should be looking into? thanks! Aaron
  16. Good lord part 2 - just got to my apartment in hunt valley - drove through a monsoon coming out of Balt city up 83 to 695 - got here and it literally hasn’t rained a drop
  17. Good lord - actual pouring rain downtown Baltimore
  18. Was 50 for the morning walk out of Monkton station with the dogs at 7 am.
  19. I know we need rain, but...holy wow what a day. 84 downtown Balt just now when stepped out - winds out of the NW - no humidity. Fluffy cloud warning in effect.
  20. That was a pretty perfect Saturday for August weather. Headed to the Fair this AM - looks like another nice day ahead. Warmer start to things - 67 in Fallston.
  21. Ended up at .64 at the farm in Fallston from that storm last night. Really needed too.
  22. They are quite good - coming here for trivia Sunday nights and it is a good time
  23. Small amount of urban flooding at Independent Brewing Company
  24. Holy god this storm up in fallston/bel air is rather epic.
  25. It is REALLY impressive how we miss on days like the last two days. Almost a complete whiff at the farm too.
