However, any storm that tracks to our south between March 30 and April 10 could bring an "onion snow" if precipitation falls at night. This would need to be a "thread-the-needle" type of event, but it would be foolish to rule out the possibility during such a favorable pattern.”

Winter is back next week according to CTP! Sunday Partly sunny, with a high near 42. Sunday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 23. Monday Mostly sunny, with a high near 38. Monday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 24. Tuesday Mostly sunny, with a high near 46. Tuesday Night A chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Wednesday A chance of rain, snow, and sleet. Partly sunny, with a high near 49. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Then the 0z GFS had this east coast snow storm chance on the 5th. This would make some history if it happened… The snow map is super impressive…

The 0z GFS had the @paweather & MU dream scenario of April snowstorm chances. First it has this on April 2nd.

The 0z Canadian has a winter storm chance next Wednesday.

The 12z Euro had a couple of chances as well. The day 10 storm would be interesting if we got this potential storm track.

The 12z Canadian had a parade of wintry weather chances next Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.

The 12z GFS had this towards the end of its run.

The day shift was very quiet on here considering what some models showed today in terms of late season winter weather opportunities over the next 2 weeks.

The 0z Euro Control “lost” the good snow that it had on its 12z run, lol ! Some of these extreme model runs are fun to look at, but the chances of a historic event at any time of year, especially now, are slim. The upcoming pattern for late March & early April does support at least many of us seeing some snow showers. We would need good luck & timing for anything more than that at this point.

The 6z GFS has a little snow for us next Monday.

Windows closed & heat is back on here. It got down to 56 in the house this morning. With high temperatures in the low 50s today, it was time for the heat again.
