Normal high at Harrisburg today is still 61.
20 degrees below normal would not get it done to snow here at this time.
Highs in the upper 60s this week will not be too far above normal.
Let’s wait for the pattern to flip until it can really help us get some snow chances.
I like that the pattern is above normal & dry for early November.
Below normal & stormy would just be wasted because it wouldn’t be cold enough yet.
Our snow tracking time is coming!
The best part is that most of us have already had our first frost & freeze.
Western & Northern PA have already had their first measurable snow in some places.
I like that this season has featured all of the firsts on time or a little early.
@Bubbler86
Great call by you on today being the coldest morning this week.
My Low was 31 this morning in Marysville, which was my lowest temp of the week & my first official freeze!
Mrs. Blizz insists that the heat will still not be turned on this week in Marysville despite the cold forecast for this week.
My guess is that she will cave by Wednesday…
CTPs thoughts for this week:
After a mild Saturday,
temperatures will trend steadily cooler through the midweek
period, with the first snowflakes of the season possible for
west-central PA.
