  1. Keep those reports from Middletown coming! I’m curious to see how MDT is doing with this band.
  2. Wow! That’s great! CTP radar wasn’t showing much, so I was curious how far SE this band would reach.
  3. Yes! Easily the heaviest snow of the day for the last 20 minutes & still ongoing. All surfaces covered & roads caved again. At least a couple of tenths so far with this band.
  4. Snow shower streamers look to have survived the mountains & are inbound for parts of the LSV. Light snow has resumed in Marysville out ahead of this.
  5. The late January period has ensemble support on the GEFS & EPS today.
  6. I just got to look at this beauty of a 18z GFS late January snow storm potential. At the least, it’s something to track. Back here in the interior, we could score if this type of storm were to actually develop. The snow map was pretty nice for us, but it buried NE this run.
  7. I need MDT to find 1 more tenth of snow this evening to get us over 9 inches for the season to date!
  8. It’s all good! I enjoyed this week of tracking for sure. Best week with 2 storms since February of 2021 ! I’m ready to track more snow!
  9. Lol, guilty as charged for looking for patterns that can produce snow!
  10. The 12z models each were showing some type of Winter weather in PA around the 29th.
  11. Light snow never stopped all day in Marysville, but sometimes it was lighter than others. Currently sitting at 3” for the day, but hoping for a few more tenths if we get hit with a streamer.
  12. Looking at current radar, there is a fairly large area of light snow stretching back to western PA that should move east this afternoon. We should have several more hours of light snow to go today.
  13. Checking in over lunch, I’m happy to hear that most of our southern tier counties are doing well. I just measured 2.3” in Marysville with steady light snow continuing.
  14. Radar is starting fill in that small gap near Cumberland, MD. Lots of precip back in OH & WV as well
  15. MDT reporting Snow with .5 mile visibility at 8 am Ob.
  16. Rate & flake size increasing in Marysville currently. Eyeballing about 1 inch on the ground.
  17. The event is in the early stages. Lots of precip still in the Midwest. This will fill in & we should have snow of varying rates all day.
  18. Light snow in Marysville with all surfaces caved instantly.
  19. Good to see most models with a slight uptick for many of us this evening.
  20. Accuweather map has all of the southern half of PA in the 3 to 6 range.
  21. 0z NAM has a decent bump up for Harrisburg, Lancaster & York over 18z. 0z top 18z bottom
  22. Yes, I just noticed that as well. This is the point & click for Harrisburg International from a minute ago. Maybe they will be bumping up the Advisory amounts again this evening?
