I don’t feel that’s true at all. We have a ski area here in town(a good one for SNE), it’ll be jammed. They’ll blow a ton of snow and they’ll crush it. This will be perfect for that.

Well nothing has verified yet, still got 3 days to go. I actually hope it hold its own, and is correct on this. That way maybe it can be trusted somewhat again.

Got 4 weeks before that even happens… And then 6 more weeks of actual winter, or this dry and cold, gives 10 more weeks of whatever. Gonna be a long haul. Something will give.

Well if nothing else, I think this trend is showing that we can’t just completely shut doors on threats at 4-6 days out, as happens here too easily many times. Yes sir..the GFS has improved a lot over the last few years. It’s always confidence inspiring when the two big boys agree as we close in for sure. So ya, it would be great to see a shift on the Euro too, but if it doesn’t it’s not a death signal anymore, especially at 4 days out.

Dr no isn’t even close to the superior model it once was…doesn’t carry the weight it used to imo. Thing shits the bed more than ever.

Can’t say I’m surprised…everything so far this season has trended right into go time.

At the same time though…when it looks bad the maps are posted constantly…especially by the trolls. So post away if you want to. I mean if anybody thinks that a great pattern being posted, and commented on, automatically guarantees great snow, needs to relearn some things.

At some point the law of averages will come into play…something will bust through.

Nothing wrong with saying that. I mean this current set up is just starting to set in now, how it continues to morph over the next week to 10 days is still not carved in stone either.

Oh…didn’t realize that. Well then that’s My mistake. Regarding the Monday system…if it trended 50 miles each day(and that’s not hard to do) into go time it’s snow for a lot of areas SOP. Obviously, that confluence has to relax for this to happen. But it’s certainly not impossible at 3.5-4.0 days to go.
