  1. I put in the prayer for you pal to the Big Boss…looks like he answered it! So glad things seem to be heading in the right direction for you. Now let it snow for all of us.
  2. Lol and to think the coast was supposed to get mostly rain…now they may be the only ones to see any flakes, if current modeling holds. But that’s a Big IF however.
  3. Yes my feeling too. It may well be gone, but it’s just too early to say that too imo.
  4. Your condescending attitude is a lot to handle. You can think what you want. The flow is fast/tough I certainly give you that. But the modeling loses crap in buckled flows all the time too, especially out at day 5. So that’s my point and stance. We’ll leave at at that.
  5. Well modeling goes one way then another all the time. That’s Modelology Blizz. And sure there’s a lot of time left…for it to go either way. But swing with each model run if that floats your boat. If by tomorrow night it’s still out by Bermuda, then I’ll certainly agree that this is gone. And I’ll be totally fine either way..it’s 12/5 after all.
  6. Correct..it hasn’t been anything to write home about either. It ain’t what it used to be, and hasn’t been for a few years now. But this isn’t figured out yet….so I’d hold off on how any one model did, or didn’t do at this juncture. That’s the only take home currently imo.
  7. Absolutely. Holy smokes this place is a dumpster fire. If we get a couple inches that’s great. If we don’t..that’s fine with me too.
  8. Too early to know which modeling did better or not imo.
  9. John..nobody is angry. And you’re not the end all be all on here either. You can think what you want professor, but day 5 is tenuous at best. Sure there are some times where a model latches on to something at 5 days out and takes it home. But I haven’t seen that happen in quite some time. But Thanks for the tip, typhoon tip.
  10. Listen, both those guys feel it’s gonna bump north. You’ll see em both return when that starts to happen, or it goes to Bermuda completely. if ya get a couple inches it’s a win. It’s Sunday for god sakes. This is a Wednesday deal if it happens? You’re as fickle as the wind.
  11. I’ve seen plenty of conducive flows where the modeling loses storms also. D5 is a crapshoot at best.
  12. Or…not knowing what to do because there’s not enough or adequate sampling. That happens too.
  13. Yup. And Its even funnier that people are saying it’s a miss for sure now. You’d think some of these people were newbies here? A couple days ago the high was retreating and not gonna keep the cold locked in too…now it’s snowing in Virginia. I mean everybody thinks they know what’s gonna happen on Wednesday, when it’s still Sunday at not even noon time… and they absolutely don’t.
  14. That model blows no matter what it shows. If it showed a foot I wouldn’t put any stock in it either.
  15. Well then that’s On them. No black hole here at all. I’ll be perfectly happy with 2” of snow if it comes. The fact that we’re tracking a chance is what I felt would happen anyway. This is far from figured out …for good or for bad outcomes here in SNE.
  16. Nothing wrong with posting a map, as long as folks realize the obvious caveats at that lead time, and don’t get sucked in.
  17. GFS just showed DC with 6-8.” As I said NYC was supposedly out of the game on Friday lol. It’s Sunday…this is gonna keep trending. Maybe it becomes a mid Atlantic special? Wouldn’t that be ironic. Or we get the supposed bumps north as all the pros were touting…that’s still a distinct possibility.
  18. Lol it was just a couple days ago NYC wasn’t even in the game for any snow…folks were telling Anthony he was out of the game completely.
  19. Ya what’s wrong the 2-3”? I’m game for that. We take that and run in the first week of December. And it Adds to my .25” from a week ago lol. And there will be more shifts/changes coming being it’s still only Sunday.
  20. I think it could end up as anything at this point. I do think we muster a couple inches inland. Nothing wrong with that if that’s how it pans out.
