  1. I think they’re all picking and choosing and not in any rush to get back into the work force currently. They’ll have to come back eventually(unless we turn into a Venezuela), but for now they’re living off what the government gave em for 18 months.
  2. Scott a ton of these folks were marking 600 bucks, plus full unemployment benefits on top of that for a long time. Then it was 300 bucks plus full unemployment benefits…lots of these folks didn’t ever make anything close to that…so why would they go back to work when they were making more than they ever made before. Sometimes double what they made before. THis was the whole problem…and as you can see it’s trickle down effect is having huge ramifications.
  3. Yes…gonna take time to catch up and teach and train folks.
  4. The money just left pal…folks saved money, and they’re living off what they squirreled away, or finding other things to do unfortunately.
  5. And then the lack of truck drivers to get the goods to market. That’s what happens when you pay folks to stay home. No shortage of goods…just a shortage of worker’s.
  6. Oh it sure was a furnace…I agree. But That rogue Storm for the mid Atlantic and NYC was a monstrosity blockbuster, and one for the ages…and all they needed to hit above average snowfall. And then there was the record breaking cold snap that Valentine’s Day weekend, so my point to snowman19 was that yes it was a raging Nino and a sea of warmth, and a lousy winter overall, especially for SNE, but it had its standouts that’s for sure.
  7. Well NYC and Mid Atlantic did get and an Epic Historic Blizzard that winter despite the Raging Nino…and many places including NYC and many areas of SNE did set all time record cold sub zero lows on Valentine’s Day that same season just a month later…while surrounded by warmth otherwise. So it had its standouts.
  8. Like that ‘68 and 2010 idea…both those winters following those October’s were exceptional.
  9. Oh yes, I agree that an actual jet would have lasted longer, but it had a jet engine sort of sound to it, for that very short interval.
  10. Those were blue Jays I heard on your video. Sounded like a jet flying over to me on your video at 15 seconds. Beautiful yard/property you have.
  11. Yes sir, nothing wrong with 68-74 degrees in October for sure. 68 here currently…sun finally popped out about 90 minutes ago. Colors really starting to come out now here. Beautiful time of year.
  12. Yes color starting to come now. Considering it’s only 10/6, it’ll start going fast now.
  13. I don’t either. These mild days are perfect. Who needs 40’s for highs in October? That’s just sh*t we don’t need or want yet.
  14. Everything is fine. Don’t let things you can’t control bother you. Gorgeous autumn weather last week, yesterday and today. Winter will come…that you can bet on.. “As usual.” And Forky is a spoon, and that concrete jungle he lives in is an urban heat island nightmare.
  15. 73 here…but just ideal. Keep it coming for another 6 weeks or so.
  16. Last year it didn’t rain for 3 and a half months…that hastened it last year.
  17. He needs to change his user name to ineededibles
  18. Dendy, didn’t you get 36+ this last December? Thought that was your record or close to it? What did you get in December ‘17?
  19. Ya we’re headed out at 9:20 here with the lil ones(kindergartners) too for P.E. …feels great out there.
  20. It’ll hold off(the snow) in SNE. Stepping down nicely now. What a feel this morning…mid 40’s never felt so good. Autumn is starting to take hold.
