Lol about the grass…last year it didn’t rain for 3 months straight and was 94 degrees every day for those 3 months. This year it rained twice a week every week. Lol c’mon already with this BS.

Bring the 60’s nothing wrong with any of that. When it’s time..winter will arrive just as it has for millennia. And just as it will for another millennium. Don’t you worry your lil brain about any of it.

Where you live is much different than inland areas obviously.

Bottom line is, some places further behind than others. And some places further ahead than others. We are at peak here, and in another week or so leaves will be mostly down. Shoreline areas are further behind obviously.

At peak here in Central CT..leaves falling like snow. Every place is different. Foliage looks beautiful. Shoreline a whole nother story though it seems..it’s all good. Winter will come.

Just Incredible! 10” per hour rates at 15” in 90 minutes. The gas for the snowblower to keep up with that kind of snow must be astronomical.

Thats not what my post meant at all. Somebody told another poster not to listen to JB. So I chimed in, and explained what it might have been more of? Hey, if a significant winter threat is on the way in early November, bring it dammit! But I’m fine with 60 and sunny too like today is gonna be. I’m not analyzing any one’s psychology like some others do. Just that it ain’t winter climo yet…but it’s coming.

Suns been out here for a couple hrs already. Gonna be a great day here, 63 for a high. We take and enjoy. If the sun stays out there..you’ll be able to blow this afternoon for sure.

Yes, exactly my point. A few more weeks of waiting and then climo starts to cooperate. Let’s hope the pattern can start to cooperate around then as well?

It wasn’t just that. I think Some folks were getting there hopes up that this next potential could have some wintry appeal to it. That isn’t gonna happen now, and we look to stay around where we should be for the first half of November, or slightly above? And who really cares anyway, because as we all should know, the first 2/3 of November, are not winter climo for SNE for the most part. Sure we can score a siggy winter event in the first half of November, but if we do, that’s a nice bonus to get us on the board early. But it shouldn’t be expected.

I don’t put much stock in those anymore, especially anything more than a couple weeks, whether they look great or lousy.

Ya, as I just posted that was just a week ago. So don’t worry, next week or Thursday whenever they come out, they’ll look better again to suck you back in. Lol.

Ya last week they were looking better, but next week it will change again too. Anything farther out than two weeks is suspect anyway.

When I’d head up from here, I’d get off 95 at the 201 interchange exit, and go through Skowhegan. Very hairy road for sure.
