Your post was well understood by the reasonable folk…we get what you’re saying. And it makes sense.

We had blocking last December(I don’t know if this blocking is progged to be more stout than last December)…but we also had a record -PNA at the same time, which killed us. This looks much different in that regard. And it is nice to see a good pattern setting up as we approach our climo stride in SNE.

Heck, nobody knows anything other than the pattern looks very good. That’s it. That’s all anybody can say. That and there will be chances. And you know this…Always hedge low..you’ll win more often than not. Personally, give me a SWFE of 6” or so, and a decent coastal of 6-8” and I’ll be more than happy.

Ahh whatever….he(GreenMountain) was/has been obsessing over GFS OP runs, that seems to be a waste of time imo, especially 10 plus days out. Like what was said earlier by some of our METS, it’s hard to find a problem with the Ensembles of both the American and European suites. That’s a nice problem to have. A few of us said a couple days ago, that we’d probably be better off if the nice look took hold more in the mid December time frame, and that just may happen. Which would probably benefit most areas in SNE, rather than in early December.

Absolutely. But we have GreenMountain Coffee, and a few others constantly complaining about OP runs…WTF?

Thank you. He’s another worry wart. It looks about as good as it can look, and whether that ends up delivering snow or not, nobody knows. But I’ll take the look as you pointed out any day…over something less attractive.

Well in that case, then I would be in that group. Although we had a very good storm in Dec ‘20, and Feb 1st of ‘21, but got boned last January with those of you out east/SE getting it. I have no issues waiting to mid month for this to mature/come into its own.

That doesn’t help us either…rains in SNE too on that. Fantasy joke at this point, but ya, big blocks can make incredible things happen.

I think most of the reasonable folks here are plenty patient. Ya have a few who keep denying any pattern change has happened, or will. And a few who say what the ensembles have been showing isn’t real. Other than those folks, the vast majority are fine.

Ya that sloppy one was a Friday night….then at 0z that night/early Saturday morning, the Euro brought the big dog back from the dead. That was an exciting time.

Yes, you are completely correct. But it worked out perfectly anyway in both situations for most. He was reverse psychology-ing both set ups into reality.
