  1. Me too. That looks good for a vast majority of this sub forum. If the sleet holds off a tad longer in someone’s spot, they see the higher end of the 4-8” range, and maybe over achieve. But that will be a nowcast deal.
  2. Reggie sucks Kev. 4-8” south to north in CT, to sleet and some feeezing drizzle. And maybe ends as some light snow. That’s the deal.
  3. This is spot on. And this is, and was my point last night. Scooter the fortune teller lmao. He’s always telling us so. It’s gonna be a good storm/impactful for most. 4-8” with sleet and freezing drizzle for a large area. Those that stay mostly snow..Ray and Jeff and Dave…a foot. There it is in a nutshell. Lock it.
  4. But That can go both ways too. You’re gonna be/your area is the winner in this I believe. Depending how quickly the sleet comes in..will be the difference here between 6” or 8+” here. Never expected pure snow. But that high means business this time…it’s stout and entrenched.
  5. It doesn’t need to get any colder. You’ve been incorrect on how this was gonna trend, you’ve said it yourself. A tic north doesn’t change all that much for most. I’m expecting some sleet …no doubt, but also quite a bit of snow first.
  6. My point is, it’s gonna tic both ways a tad now…after it’s been ticking all day south. Shocker…they’re the same thing pretty much. They both suck lol.
  7. Everything has ticked south all day Scott. C’mon now. You’re reaching on this now with your north calls. I think a tic or two/noise in either direction is bound to happen….but it’s defied the whole north idea for the most part. It looks to be a good region wide event for everyone in SNE. Strong High entrenched/confluence…weak primary system equals a good dump for most.
  8. Weren’t folks just saying the snow growth stinks with this? Think it was SeymourSnow? Now it’s not?
  9. Agreed. Winter was over after the second week of February..was all we kept hearing. This season and everything associated with it has been declared dead more than Michael Meyers and Jason Voorhees from Halloween and Friday the 13th.
  10. Winter a couple weeks ago was on life support too…lol.
  11. Who cares…just start it. You know what you’re doing. Put it back.
  12. Oh Yes correct, and I certainly did realize this, that’s why I put in there this is different. This has a gorgeous high this time…if the depiction of that is close to correct?
  13. Yes..5 days out (in any season), and in this crazy season it’s really crapshoot for sure.
  14. Well this is a valid point. But I’m also not too confident with anything this winter. This winter has humbled and surprised a lot of us, and not in a good way more often than not. This is gonna morph some more most likely going forward…5 days out is a long time especially this winter.
  15. No Kev, the one before that. That was all everybody was saying/thinking too with that…things like, it’ll bump north, they always do etc…it never did. It actually went the opposite way, and we got very little, but it got us on the board. That was the one where me and Luke went back and forth. Lol.
  16. But it’s 5 days out so this too will morph, that high looks like it means businesses. Everybody said this exact same thing in December. Now I realize that this is different…one thing different is the big high this time that looks anchored in. I agree with Seymour…we shouldn’t be too confident in either direction. If one thing this winter has shown us, it is it’s ability to buck the expected trend.
  17. I remember the lil 1-2 incher back in December (first snow of the year for us)…we all thought that was going north too…and everybody kept saying the same thing, and it never really did. A few runs it did, but then slid south and we pretty much lost it..save for the 1-2” that got us on the board. This year I don’t trust anything…especially at 5 days out.
  18. What are the odds that actually happens? Probably low…right?
  19. Ahhh it’s a long way out…it’ll morph and change many times over the next 3-5 days. At least it’s something worth keeping an eye on.
  20. Yup…I figured you’d survive there. Nice Jeff.
  21. Ya that’s not bad…but most didn’t see those winds outside of the coast and up high. Breezy and gusty sure, but nothing out of the ordinary for 98% of the forum.
  22. Lol…ya you win hands down on this one. It was underwhelming as usual for most.
  23. Not all of Maine. Im heading up this afternoon….northern Maine is buried, and they are under a winter storm warning as we speak for 5-11”. No worries from Presque Isle on up. Southern Maine got decimated. But they always do.
