I obviously wasn’t born in 65-66, and don’t know what the winter did that season, but if you and Jerry would take it(I know you weren’t around then either), count me in too.
That’s a lot of rain…hopefully that’ll be it for your issues.
I had 6 plus inches here in Tropical storm Ida back on September 1st ‘21, pretty much all came from 9 pm to 2 am…insane rates.
Yup. Or shall we say Ohhhhkemo. Tons of damage there unfortunately…sad.
High and dry here, thankfully zero issues. Been plenty wet of late, but no flooding, and this event vastly missed which was fine by me, (.65”).
Well the first 3 days of next week look to be in the 50’s as of this time…that’s not summer lol. Later next week upper 60’s looking likely. However the last 3 days have certainly been summertime feeling.
Truck was reading 93 when I headed to New Haven yesterday afternoon at 3:30 to meet some buds for dinner….figured when I got to New Haven it would be cooler. It was, by about 7 degrees, but was still 86 degrees. Impressive heat for April.
80 here already today too…
Lol…what is funny and ironic is that it wasn’t long ago that the mantra was they’d never recover…it was gonna become a dust bowl/drought region. Funny how it all seems to balance out after all…
Snow in the morning ..rain after 1pm is what they’re saying at the moment. No worries…we’ll get Thursday and Friday in..anything is a bonus at this point.
