    Just started raining…we held it off as long as we could, but alas it’s wet again. On the edge of the heavier stuff down to the south.

    Lol…never. Plenty of cold and snow where I go for many decades to come. No worries whatsoever. It’s all cyclical.

    I’m thinking we get wet here today… lot of precip to the west heading this way…it won’t all dry up. Further north looks nice and dry.

    It ain’t warm either compared to normal..that was my point. Nobody said the end of October is supposed to be overly cold in general, nor in a forecast. 1 degree Celsius above normal isn’t any blowtorch. Pretty colors can sometimes be misleading in both directions.

    Folks just say stupid stuff…nothing looks overly warm at all.

    There can always be a rogue cold shot that can give a frost in late September/early October in any year…but usually not the case.

    I don’t get the whole obsession with a frost? If the Deep South gets it before we do, good for them. It’ll come when it’s ready. I feel it has no bearing on the upcoming winter whatsoever. And I know you were just replying to Kevin…I’m just surprised at the concern over a frost by some folks.

    If those years were the least snowy…when predicted in October, that was a pretty huge fail. Holy smokes.

    I think I had more rain this summer here than 2020, but regardless, it could be a lot of different things. The smoke…certainly. Whatever it is, they are very muted this year. Oh well.

    Ya, only this year. Last years foliage was absolutely stunning. It happens…to much rain this year messed up the leaves.
