We don’t know the reason yet…I’m sure he has a reason, but he’s still on the loose. Obviously there’s no reason that justifies anything like this whatsoever, but he may be on a vengeance rampage…and not insane at all…but consumed with revenge and Evil?

Some folks are just evil…and that’s all there is to it. No rhyme or reason.

Now the news says he might be doubling back to the hospital, to do in the wounded he didn’t kill…hopefully that’s not the case.

That’s beautiful…color has turned out dam good considering it’s slow start this year. We enjoy.

Law of averages…we due.

I love the sound of that. I’m certainly thinking average is a good estimate at the moment. But ya…we’ve taken it on the chin WOR, and the last two years have been lean to say the least(last year the worst ever).

And That was a great winter incoming/enroute that year….2010-2011.

The sad part is, Will you were born far too late to witness ‘78(I was 9 at the time..turned 10 a month later). It was the real deal everywhere in SNE. What a total beast. Feb 2013 delivered something very similar for me here…more snow accumulation in ‘13, but winds were still longer lasting, and bigger drifting in ‘78. Both were absolutely historic. Both ‘78 and Feb 2013 closed school for a week in town here also.

Well it looks like now it’ll feel like deep autumn on Halloween…kids better bundle up.

Not angry, but just for perspective, you weren’t enjoying golf in the winter in ‘13, or in ‘14, or in ‘15, or in ’18, or in ‘21. And perhaps you were golfing during and after the blizzard that buried you with 30 plus in ‘22? So I mean let’s be real too. Yes, last year winter was non existent for most of us in SNE(except Hubby and Ineedsnow), but that’s not usually/always the case.

Way better.

Golf courses in my town(we have two, and another 2 just over the boarder in the next town) are pretty much closed once it snows…maybe it’s different out where you are. Unless it’s an unseasonably mild snowless winter(like last year), but that’s the exception not the rule.

It’s a start…and another step down, we take.

Yes, for you it’s been active and exciting. And that’s good for you. We did have the flooding and massive rains in the summer…so there was that. But overall for most(especially winter fun) it’s been a bore.

He doesn’t get it. He’s too young to understand. Ya had to live the bad 80’s winters to completely understand. 1-3” was commonplace back then. 2-4” and we were feeling giddy. 3-5” was a substantial storm. And 4-6” was major…And if you accumulated greater than 6” it felt like you were in rarified territory. And tons of mixed bag storms too…always mixed precip events…which then froze solid afterwards. Remember almost always being able to walk on top of the snow due to freezing rain crusting it up…we did LOTS of good sledding/and tobogganing on the iced up snow in those years(had lots of good fun, and made the best of what we got), but it was lean and frustrating for quite awhile. It seemed like every storm that came along, would always get sabotaged somehow…amazing how often that happened back then, it was like clockwork. And you knew at some point as a storm approached, the rug would ultimately get pulled out..and it practically always did. F’n Infuriating!

Well to be fair, Isaias was august of ‘20, and winter 20-21 was pretty darn good. Two big 12-18” events in CT(Dec of ‘20; and Feb 1st of ‘21) in one winter is pretty good imo. But since then it’s not that great(although eastern areas got the blizzard of late Jan ‘22 which was great for them), but other than that, the last two years have been dull.

Spanks froze this morning at his sand pit…so count him in on that.

The whole year has been boring…it’s been a snooze fest the last year.
