  1. No way…I’m staunchly saying that we will do better than last years 12” here. No doubt in my mind.
  2. yes, I will do better here than last year(12”), I will bet the house on that. I could beat that in one storm pretty easily. So I’m confident in that we will do better here. Northern points of Worcester county, Sure they can do worse than last year(cuz they had a pretty decent year last year), but not here.
  3. It won’t be worse than last year here…we can only go up in SNE. So in that regard it’ll be better for us.
  4. So are we saying that potentially Philippe’s moisture gets involved with this system for Saturday?
  5. Yes…gorgeous out. October can feature some incredible weather….and some incredible storms too.
  6. Well let’s hope your personal feelings translate into something close(even half of that would be very good) to that season…it was a doozy.
  7. Ok…I guess I’m out of the loop on this, but is this the reason some modeling is showing another big amount of rain this upcoming weekend again? Might be merging with some type of a tropical entity?
  8. The rainy we’ve had…the cool has been here the last two rainy weekends, this will be even cooler though.
  9. A good rule of thumb….”Nature is never in a rush, yet everything gets done.”
  10. As I said…yesterday in the evening NBC CT said it was looking just like a few showers, nothing like a washout/what we had the last couple weekends. I guess that’s changed since last evening.
  11. Unfortunately it was more right for this last flooder from 3+ days out than the other models. Yesterday evening, Hanrahan said looks like only a couple showers, no wash out. But we know how things change 5 days out.
  12. Lol…before I even looked at your post, I knew you were gonna say that exact thing.
  13. Swamp maple are getting bright, starting to look nicer too it seems here…that is good news. Most of the oaks I see every year just turn brown anyway, and take forever to fall off. A few turn that deep burgundy…don’t know what species that is (red oak?), but those are the only oaks that I know of that actually look nice when they change in the autumn .
  14. Ya, that would be interesting. I thought somebody mentioned that a ways back…don’t remember if anybody said what it showed though? Or if they did I don’t remember what the answer was.
  15. That new CanSips shows a nice blocking signal in December….what was the previous post meaning when it said it lost the blocking signal in Dec? Doesn’t look lost to me in December on that updated CanSips that was posted by stadiumwave .
  16. Right on cue lol. These weekend rainers are something else.
  17. Lol….hmmm, one of those is 144 yrs ago, another is 115 yrs ago, and the other is 82 yrs ago. Gee, I guess it was warm in October 100 plus yrs ago too. What a Shocker! NOT! And Concord beats Laguardia both times, and one of them is by 10 days… so very interesting. Thanks for posting.
  18. Ya..we got 3.3” last Sunday/Monday. Plus yesterday/today’s deluge…been incredible.
  19. This is hilarious…but I feel ya. Needs to end here, and dry out. Hope to salvage the afternoon.
  20. Ya the steady stuff is to your SW now, over here. Hoping it rotates away, and then that’ll be that. Persistent mofo this thing is.
  21. I know. But We have a big outdoor party this afternoon in East Hartland, CT, and she goes if the sun isn’t at least partially out, and it’s drying out, we aren’t going. So I’m acting confident that things improve by noon.
