Very nice radar image for what looked to be a bust.

Heavy snow…cold and fluffy. Eyeballing 3” or so. They issued WSWarnings, dropped just after midnight to WWA here, they’re gonna gave to go back to the warning I’m thinking.

Well Euro and HRRR and Ukie had very little to almost nothing here at 8 last evening, as we know.

And radar is Looking dam good, compared to what the Euro and Mesos were spitting out the last 12-18 hrs. Temps are not an issue either…lol 1970’s and 80’s models would have done a better job on this.

Total modeling failure on this system…in every way. Maybe GFS(was the most steadfast) prevails after all?

Ryan said that he feels it’s gonna come down pretty good in central and southern CT(Along and south of 84). I guess we’ll see how this plays out very soon.

Ya if I can shag me 4” tomorrow I’ll consider it a win. This morning I was in the 12-18” area on the NWS snowfall map. Infuriating.

Anthony in NYC said to Jerry on Friday that this wasn’t going to be a Dendrite Jack, due to the confluence being to strong, he was correct. Little did he know at the time however, that he’d end up getting the Winter Storm Warning in NYC, and Dendrite would get shut out. Crazy turn of events for so many in SNE.
