Good post. Lots of younger weenies were misled/influenced by the constant big/bigger storms, and having things work out more often than not, the last 2 decades. But that’s not how it always is. That’s why this stretch of trash is even tougher on them. Those of us who’ve lived through the bad winter times before, know this. Hope we can catch a break coming up..would take the edge off for most of us. Even a couple inches would be nice.

Yes, it seems the OP runs can’t hold any one system at all? I know..5-7 days out and all, but dam, you’d think there’d be some sort of semblance at this point of some type of system. I mean to lose 1/5 completely at 0z, and then back again at 6z…will it be gone again at 12z? Using and seeing the system on the ensembles is a decent sign. I hope the atmosphere can throw us a bone with one of these….dam that would help.

Well the Pope seems to think if it misses us to the south, that Mid Atlantic snows. So if that’s the case, if it comes a little further north, then it will snow here too, if it snows in South Jersey lol.

Well we gotta week for a few changes…certainly within the realm of reason anyway.

Well we have 3 months before we know if it’s worse. Here, that would be a very difficult feat to be worse than last year, but anything is possible. So at the end of March we can evaluate it.

Wasn’t this supposed to be for the mid Atlantic/suppressed deal. Creeping north perhaps. They like to do that.

I guess we’ll see…? I don’t trust much at 7 days out, let alone 14, but that’s just me.

That’s almost two weeks out..hopefully that morphs, or disappears by that point as we move forward.

The snow part I meant…that’s what it was like. 4-8” was a huge storm back then. It was mostly 1-3 and 2-4, 3-6 and everybody was thrilled.
