Actually yes..necessarily. But will it be during the winter? Or next spring/summer? That’s the question?

That could be correct. Cooled off and dried out after mid August, and has been stellar ever since. I guess the big question is, will there be a price to pay for this, coming up in the next few months? Let’s hope so. It all has to even out at some point.

Nobody knows mid November…so let’s be real. But I do agree, let’s enjoy this glorious weather for sure. Today was totally fabulous! Plenty of time in 6-8 weeks from now to flip the script.

69 degrees currently. Perfection. Has a great feel with the sun having lost a lot of its strength from the lower angle.

You’re kind of in the minority on that…but That’s fair enough. Those peppers look good. Most of the vegetable gardens around here got killed in the frost on Thursday morning.

The foliage is beautiful Kev. Really shaped up to be a stunner. Just had to give it time to mature and peak.

The foliage is FABULOUS…PERIOD!!! But we were told it was horrible. I’m sick of it. We are CRUSHING IT here. So sorry that other places aren’t. Maybe next year.

I’ve seen good stretches and bad stretches my whole life. Never saw anything even close to 2011 and 2015 in my whole life. Never did we ever have to shovel roofs ever in my life, but we did those two years. So imo it’s up and it’s down. It’ll be back again at some point.

Lol…such a ridiculous statement. Ya 2003, (2010 in the Mid Atlantic even) 2011, 2013, 2015, and even 2021 was so long ago when retention was seen.

I’ll take the trough there now for the next 3-4 weeks. Keep it beautiful here. In 4-6 weeks we can then flip the script.

Lol…naa sled is in Northern Maine, awaiting our return. And that temp outlook is fine with me. If it’s even close to being correct. And equal chances of below and above normal precip…I’ll roll the dice with that.

Been a beautiful autumn so far. Everything one would want. Sunny beautiful and comfortable days, Frosts and freezes, gorgeous color, and now Indian summer in a few days. The weather is as it should be. We enjoy.

He’s just busting….growing season over for most all of us now. Frost everywhere this morning here…and right on time. In fact it’s 3 days earlier than the average date of 10/20 for Hartford, Middletown and New Haven CT. Perfect autumn weather as it should be. And as Brian said, now we enjoy some authentic Indian Summer weather. Can’t get much better than this. So much for first frost after December 1st lol.

Freeze warnings in affect for interior southern CT away from coast. With frost advisories along the coast. Gonna be a cold one tonight for alot of the area.
