It’s bad now. I’m definitely tossing it. Flops all over the dam place. I think they really ruined it when they added the off hr runs…it seems to really flop around since those have been included. Tossed.

It’s all relative bro. As Will said and others said, the cutter can shift 2-300 miles and it’s still a cutter for us(but it has huge impacts for the folks in the lakes and midwest when it shifts that much). And that’s all ya need to know. A snowstorm for us on the east coast doesn’t have that wiggle room. Move it 200 miles west and it’s a cutter here again. Move it 200 miles east and it’s a snowstorm for us. Very small window for error here.

A week ago(last Friday), we had many saying January was done/no snow or winter lol. And the usual suspects were even cancelling into February.

He does..but he likes to tease a lot too..we know. Snow coming Sunday, and then we flood. Then we improve. That’s reality.

I’m fine with it pal. I’ll enjoy the snow Sunday, as will you. No controlling it..so enjoy what you can. Looks better after that. So we’ll take it.

maybe they’re expecting it to shift back south at 12z? It did the same yesterday lol…this is where the sensitivity in the modeling lately can be a detriment. As METS, isn’t there job to sift through the data, and gleam the important parts/overall look of all the data, and separate it from the noise? Not just go with the rip and read idea?
