  1. Good point on the QPF trend. Lost 0.5in in Raleigh over the last 9 runs.
  2. Same question, but 1 AM Monday. Trend appears to be consistent. Two more days of the models "warming" and I don't see how we end up with the same ice that is currently being forecasted.
  3. Isn't there 5 more hours of precip after 7 PM Sunday? Wouldn't that then just be rain and not freezing rain?
  4. RAH in their briefing mentioned the model was starting to reflect some warming. If you look at the Sunday 7 PM for the last several runs, Raleigh's modeled temp goes from 24 to 30. If that trend continues, you'd have to think ice amounts would have to be reduced.
  5. "More than a village can drink" Your username = NorthHillsWx My address = North Hills Perhaps we should explore your theory more closely.
  6. Google Weather on my Pixel... 30+ inches over two days in Raleigh.
  7. For any FFA alums out there, you likely recall the Blue Corduroy jackets. Next week is the state convention for FFA in Raleigh. Imagine 102 in a corduroy jacket walking the streets looking for a hotdog vendor.
  8. Howdy neighbor. I'm 10 houses from Honey Baked Ham.
  9. Wet fat flakes splatted on my windshield for about 2 minutes in Raleigh at the St Mary's / Glenwood intersection. A block later it had stopped.
  10. Global temperature: https://temperature.global/ Why have we had 9 consecutive years of below 30 yr normal? Data reportedly coming from NOAA Global METARs NOAA One-Minute Observations (OMOs) NBDC Global Buoy Reports MADIS Mesonet Data Not debating... I'm asking the experts.
  11. Greg is a good guy. He took off to Florida for a while but now is back in the region and very well may be a reader of these boards. I hope the above comment is deleted.
  12. Grass getting white at North Hills in Raleigh
  13. Wet flakes splattering on the windshield driving in North Hills are of Raleigh.
  14. Same here but for different reasons I'm sure. Any significant winter weather event the week of our final exams at NC State would be highly disruptive.
