Ok, great thanks for the info i really appreciate it. I didn't know BOS wasnt measured at the airport. Where exactly is it measured and by whom? -
is that 12Z? Where do you get it so fast, TT and Wxbell isnt out yet. I also have a question for anyone here, for plotting snowfall. Is snowfall measured at ISP airport itself or is it Brookhaven (upton) doing the measuring and its kept record at the airport as "Islip Area"?

Have you seen my snowfall to date map? The answer is, yes. And after the last 3 seasons the answer is definitely yes. Took a look at the GEFS and its not much of a help, similar to the OP. Gotta feeling EC will follow the UK/GFS for 12Z. GEM seems really out there.

Season snowfall to date ending Jan 13th 2025. I'll probably do another update in a month in Feb then again in Mar as these are very time consuming. If anyone has anything they want to add or change let me know. 58.6" is nowhere near Kevin, in fact it's not even in CT. That's North Foster Rhode Island. Kevin is in tolland. Also none of these reports come from here, it's all COOP data. See 1991-2020 on my site for comparison in that area.

thanks, i appreciate that you appreciate it. Sometimes it can be tough and discouraging working hours and hours in photoshop in the middle of the worst 3 year winter stretch ive ever seen.

@Patrick-02540 Besides the 5 climo sites, take those numbers with a grain of salt as most are missing many days over 25 years. Which is understandable. I tried to only include reports that are missing <1000 days, which is actually not that much over 9,125 days, about 10%.
