    I think the best thing to do right now is to step back from the model watching and come back after the New Year. I’m just assuming this is a dud winter so any sort of positive change will be a nice surprise. A real nice surprise….

    Temp has gone up 2 degrees here in the last hour. Just what you want before ‘snow’ arrives.

    Blizz hacked the computer to show snow over us. [emoji23]

    Last year….we had the big storm of snow and sleet around the 16th/17th. It stayed for about 5 days and then got washed away on the 23rd, we torched on the 24th and then the front came through and we had a cold Christmas Day with snow showers.

    And I do appreciate Blizz’s relentless effort to brew up a snowstorm.

    No doubt we should enjoy the tracking season. And I’m all for getting excited when it’s warranted. My problem is with the snow maps. They are often misleading that far out. I want to see what the overall pattern looks like so we can see how realistic our chances are.

    I don’t think it’s a good idea to look at snow maps for over ten days away. It’s setting us up for disappointment.

    Hahahaha it most certainly did not suck. Maybe not wall to wall winter, but there were three storms of 20 inches or more.

    I’m sure he hyped the December 20-January 20 period as being super cold and snowy and said the east coast would be brought to its knees trying to keep everyone warm.

    Hi guys. I have a question about weather stations. My parents want to buy me one for Christmas, but I really don't know what to recommend. I don't want to break the bank, but also don't want something super cheap. Any thoughts on this? It seems like many of you have one at your home. Thanks in advance.
