  1. Yes at this rate this storm is slowly working its way to a warning event snowfall - just spread out over 3 days so nobody cares
  2. I thought they had released a fully electric F150 already? I actually think it would be pretty cool. One thing that I should mention is that the Tesla is incredibly fun to drive. The acceleration is incredible and the motor responsiveness makes it a blast to drive around. I’d imagine a truck could have some impressive power.
  3. Agree. Even if the pack is not that deep, it feels completely different. And of course the 48+ hrs of consecutive snow we’ve had so far helps too
  4. On a daily basis, I think it’s the opposite. You always have to think/plan to stop at a gas station. With a 300 mile range, I’ve only had to “stop” twice in about 4 months. In both cases it was very easy to squeeze it in with something else I had to do - one time I did grocery shopping while I waited, and another we just used the restrooms.
  5. It’s not a problem at all. At home, you can install a 40 amp charger that will charge it up in about 5 hrs. When traveling, you have a couple of options. There are network of EV chargers that work at various speed but generally you gain 20-50 miles per hour of charging. These are EVERYWHERE - in BTV they’re even at regular meters. Great if you’re doing something and need to leave your car somewhere. if you’re actually on the road and need to charge, you can use a supercharger. There’s many of those as well and you will get a 200 mile or so range in about 15-20 minutes. A full charge to 320 miles or so takes about 45 minutes. Last week coming back from Stowe we just went via Montpelier and stopped there to charge. By the time kids got a snack went to the bathroom and we got back to the car we had about 150 miles of range earned which was way more than we needed The car can also plot the right “path” for you when navigating with stops at a supercharger if needed, which is great. The advantage of doing that is also that it will prep itself so that the battery is ready for supercharging, which will make it faster. Oh and a “fill up” at a supercharger is about $15, way cheaper than gas and you don’t even need a credit card, it just goes to your Tesla account Hope this helps!
  6. BTW big improvement in conditions in the last few days. BW opened up a lot of terrain including a glade, and the surface was nice and soft.
  7. The Tesla has been awesome. No issues whatsoever. Handles really well and while it does cut down battery life a little, it’s not a big deal in real life. You still get 250+ mile range and if needed, there are chargers everywhere.
  8. 1.4” of paste overnight, 2.7” storm total. Just light snow falling. Looks nice.
  9. 0.7” of dense snow with sleet and zr mixed in at times today. Just started with some light snow again.
  10. Started snowing as soon as the kids opened the first present. Merry Christmas to all weenies big and small!
  11. Bretton Woods is enveloped in this ice crystal cloud - I imagine from snowmaking - it’s bizarre but very scenic. Everything is glistening in the headlights
  12. It’s a whole lot better than last year I’ll tell you that!
  13. Yes, keeps us busy for sure. school is a bit weird - today is their last day, seems late!
  14. Same with us. We have a few of the 90 homes we manage still available for Xmas then we are sold out till New Years
  15. Nice big fluffy flakes falling. How are things in Stowe? Headed there tonight
  16. Yeah makes sense. Had some flurries, now sunny. It just looked so ominous! Merry Christmas!
  17. What is going on outside lol? It seems like we are about to get a thunderstorm. Sky is black
  18. Yes it was definitely a bizarre storm. Very hit or miss. But yes it just keeps going. Still light snow falling tonight
  19. An interesting observation as we binge watch Christmas shows with the kids and look at the snow in the lights. The snow they show on tv always looks like upslope
  20. Bizarre. I stay out of the fray and try to avoid high school level exchanges but you definitely don’t strike me as a problem poster
