It also snowed lightly down here all evening.  Got about 1/2" more.

The front range of the Northern Whites are sure doing their job this morning.  I will take the sunshine

Funny - I was telling Aaron yesterday that the forecast was calling for sunshine but the AFD said the storm is in the Gulf of Maine, and I told him - I doubt we see sunshine with a storm in the GOM. And in fact, the flurries have now turned to light snow again, nice fluffy flakes. Maybe a break tomorrow ahead of the next storm? Nice to see a good winter stretch for a change. I'm headed to Jamaica in late February; would love to have a few good weeks of winter till then, then flip the switch lol

Heavy snow.  1” past 45 in or so.   Enjoy it while it lasts as it should be quick up here.

Similar here, about an inch. Still coming. Was very light at first but then it really got going. Temperature dropping too, 27

  3. Skied Cranmore today. Got rough in the afternoon but still had fun. Love the vibe of the small, old fashioned New England ski hill. So different from Bretton Woods. Weather was a bit bizarre - surprisingly warmer than here. Was 20F at my house and 31F when we got there. Stayed constant all day there, “warmed” to 22F here. Usually don’t see this much difference or it’s in reverse due to CAD. A few on and off snow showers and some brief light freezing rain. Surprisingly nice views from such a small mountain, but hard to capture in a photo.

I woke up at 430 this morning and looked at my phone trying to get some idea of the weather and saw Alex's post about the new webcam so clicked and it was snowing like crazy and thought to myself, it's been probably doing that all night, I'll cross country ski up to Zealand Hut tomorrow. In reality, there is probably two inches of snow composed of 1.5" of liquid equivalent on the road- strange, it made for pretty good skiing! I had to take my skis off shortly after passing the parking lot at the end of the road due to lack of snow. There is between 8-12" of snow up around the hut. A nice day - 13 miles round trip. Funny, met a bunch of folks who brought touring skis.

No ice on Winnisquam or Meredith Bay. There are fishing houses on Waukewan and there were people fishing out on Wicwas this AM. Nice to feel like it is winter.

The front 5 at Cannon are pretty grim looking from the road - no snow on Paulie's or Avalanche.

I noticed that the camera is deceiving at night. Snizzle looks like heavy snow. Only got 3/4” in the last 24 hrs or so. I have 4.5” at the stake but it’s cement

Definitely feeling like a win after bracing for 7-10 days of grass.  We keep finding ways in a shitty winter to keep the grass covered, some snowbanks, etc.

Yes. And the sticky snow that’s falling tonight really changes the vibe - the trees look really pretty. Great for those coming up for the weekend.
