  1. I'd think if the heavier bands continue maybe we could make a run of it...
  2. Northeast Balt. City--near Morgan State. Came in kinda hot and heavy and coveted everything.
  3. Well dang...really coming down now! P.S. Does anybody know where I can find a chart that shows what SN-, SN+, etc look like!
  4. I don't understand for Baltimore...I mean I'd love that, but I don't understand it!
  5. Apparently had a heavy burst came through here and all surfaces caved instantly, lol Wasn't expecting that!
  6. This isn't gonna be a "too warm" convo. Areas that were a bit warm to start are getting pummeled now and it's accumulating. We just got unlucky.
  7. Yeah we've had it the worst, so we have more of a right to complain/vent if we wish than any other part of this sub! It won't do any good though...gratitude and all
  8. I hope so, man. We in the city have I mean this has been going on since Jan 2019. South, NW, and one time I was between two bands from a WAA--one west and one east! Through all this I've been forced to learn how to enjoy what I get, which I guess is a positive. But just once I'd like to not have to settle and practice gratitude, lol
  9. Yeah but it's been a long line of misses for my area specifically, though. Like I can't remember the last one where I wasn't on an edge or squeezed out from banding. The misses of central MD north (until today for north of me). We're talking the last 9 years here.
  10. I can deal with a storm missing...it's just annoying I had to lose money today for nothing, smh
  11. Dang yo...I haven't been able to win with either event so far! Fringed south on 1/6 (though still a decent hit), now possible fringed n & w! Is this just luck or has something changed?
  12. Yessir!!! And I believe they are LOCKED. IN! Oh, and snowing here as well!
  13. After a good 30-45 minutes of nothing...rain/snow mix starting here. Probably 33 or so
  14. While I oughta know better than to argue with ya on this, I'll bite: I still remain skeptical that EVERY close miss on temps would been different 40+ years ago (although I agree that in bad patterns warming dies indeed make things worse). So like...you can say with 100% certainty that the temperature spike last night would've only been to 37 degrees and not 40? I don't know man I guess for each example that happens now I'd like to see an identical setup that snowed and what the temp is...and I know you've provided many other examples from the past tho. I guess it just feels like a bit of a "blame every last meteorological event on warming" thing, even if it is generally true.
  15. Thank you--I didn't know about that! I guess something like this only comes to the forefront this time since we just so happened to be getting snow right in front of a cold front! When was the last time those two things happened together? I don't recall having that (I guess because typically we don't do cold chasing precip very often). Interesting
  16. I don't understand how they're still saying that for Baltimore City. If the temps are warmer starting...wouldn't it more like 1-3? Although I guess if the cold front is strong enough...
  17. I mean it is what it is and I'll enjoy whatever falls...I'm just annoyed at the delayed impact time. A canceled Sunday service takes a bite out of the check...(won't go into details, but that's how it's setup) So if I'm gonna lose money, I'd rather it be for snow that actually comes when projected. Dang it...
  18. Absolute insanity!! I know you all are over the moon--and you all deserve it! Happy for you all...to a point
  19. I hate to say this, but...all this was supposed to be in the other thread, lol
  20. Why is that, I wonder? You'd think it'd be the opposite.
  21. And why do you even call that play there down 10?? Lol Goodness gracious that was dumb. They probably just sealed their own exit
  22. Huh...now how does Ellicott city have lower elevation yet is cooler than where I am? (No panic just curious about the nuances of elevation in this state)
