  1. To CTPs credit they talk accumulations. It’ll be hard to get accumulating snow tomorrow given timing, marginal temps and (lack of) intensity.
  2. Oh, none verbatim but this setup and precip output to me reads like a classic Lancaster gradient.
  3. Tomorrow probably will be an extreme gradient over Lancaster county, 6” to the East and virtually nothing for the western border. Happens very often in these setups.
  4. The lack of moisture early led to no ice issues down this way. It’s up to 37 now.
  5. True, however I’m up to 35.7 degrees as of now. A 1.3 degree increase into 11:30 pm.
  6. CTP has a beta map about travel issues and say no one basically SE of 80 has any road issues the next 2 days.
  7. Curious if the LSV ends up with more sleet than freezing rain tomorrow am. CTP seems to be leaning that way
  8. If you leave after sunrise it might be ok. I’m not sold on too much ice overnight Saturday- I think Sunday late into Monday snow is a much more challenging travel issue.
  9. Wind was more impressive than I imagined. Routine gusts all night to 45. Neighbor has facia loose and I hardly got any sleep cause that’s loud banging around, ugh.
  10. I think it’ll be fine. This thing looks to slow down so much there is no interaction.
  11. I’d seriously doubt it. These winds won’t be anything more than what we see every month or so, plus trees are mostly bare and it’s dry. Only gusting to the low 30s, that’s nothing.
  12. If this weekend is anything like today then it’ll be sunny and 10 degrees above forecast. What a bust here.
  13. That was the best sporting event I've ever attended live (and I've seen three World Series games). They should've beat ND but didn't get an obvious over the back call at the buzzer on a tipin and lost. F ND. They also beat a Shaka Smart VCU team in the tourney, which is funny now that Shaka is sucking it up at Texas. I'm so ready for him to be fired, he's awful.
  14. Two degrees, it's just natural for me to talk about the Horns so much more since people actually know who they are haha.
  15. This system looks to be a nightmare to forecast. I'd guess down in the LSV we see very minimal frozen but it could get slick quickly. Also my alma mater upset Duke last night sooooo congratulate me lol.
  16. Hey thanks. Did you also set the Roomba to clean up and check our Nest cams for our sleeping cat?
  17. Wow I just checked my thermostat (our new HVAC has a wifi thermostat I can control on my iPhone and it is one of the best things ever) and it shows the indoor temp is 70. Crazy.
  18. As a professional graphic designer that image makes me want to jump off a bridge.
  19. In NYC this weekend and we just had mod rain most of the am then drizzle until 3 or so. Icky day here.
  20. Thanks! Models blocked here at work so couldn't tell timing. Our wanderings around the east village Sunday early afternoon should be fun.
  21. Guys, can anyone help with timing for the rain Saturday into Sunday am? IE start/end? Have to run to a lot of events in the city all weekend and trying to avoid carrying an umbrella or a raincoat (not sure if I can pull it off, but I might be able to arrange things depending on how late it starts Saturday).
  22. Might be a sneaky slick commute Monday morning for the LSV. Sleet looks like it might want to play around here.
