    Well I thought it'd rain last night but rain gauge was bone dry and my dirt is as dry as it was yesterday afternoon so I guess no rain actually fell last night after all. That or it evaporated as it did fall.

    Seriously that was an impressive way to miss rain. Storm to the south 2 miles away, to the west 1 mile and to the north 1.5 miles. But a slug of moisture is about to hut. Not stormy unfortunately.

    Radar blew up for far southern PA and Maryland. Hope we get rain tomorrow - it’s very dry here and plants aren’t looking great.

    It was hotter here Friday than today. Just was outside for 4 hours and yes it’s hot but it’s not deathly. There’s a breeze today at least. 93 now at MDT, looks like a 96 high.

    I’ll be at a beer fest from 3-7. Im going to get into Texas mode as much as possible - it’ll be a somewhat typical summer day back home so I’ll see if I can trick my kind.

    Today reminds me of a nice two-a-day football weather back home. How guys didn't just drop dead still amazes me - we went 9-11, two hour break, 1-3. Had 2 water breaks per session. Full pads after 3 days. Now Texas doesn't allow pads on two-a-days and they all do it very early in the a.m. People got smart eventually. And I graduated in 1999, not like the 60s lol.

    MDT is at 90 at noon but KCXY (Harrisburg proper) is 93.

    Was hoping for rain today but alas nada. We've also busted 3-6 degrees higher up temps every day this week ... won't be surprised now if MDT hits 101 or 102 Saturday. At 92 now, high was 88.

    Bryant Park is the best. We always stay at the Bryant Park Hotel and chill in the park. Also it's pretty f'n miserable outside.
