  1. The Tuesday winds were almost identical to forecast gusts, and higher sustained. I’ll never understand.
  2. So as far as NE Texas into Dallas this was an absolute bust. Schools cancelled events Friday because the forecast and most the region had run-of-the-mill spring-like storms. My question for those much smarter than me: Why? Parameters were ideal.
  3. In East Texas the schools are all canceling basketball games or moving them up to earlier today. I don't recall ever seeing that for anything other than snow/ice.
  4. My family is very close to Longview, should be an interesting day.
  5. My family in northeast Texas is in the direct crosshairs tomorrow. An incredibly ominous setup.
  6. Still confused why we had no wind advisory. I’ve had 38 gusts above 35 mph since noon, sustained at 24. My wind reader might be a bit off but damn it’s strong.
  7. Good for him. He's a good guy - they have some great posters. And then some not-so-great ones ....
  8. Just curious, how'd the DC/Baltimore crew fare with this system?
  9. I'm jealous of you guys who could shovel this. It was stuck to any paved surface here, no powder whatsoever.
  10. Definitely. It's almost like it is sleet. Kinda a weird texture.
  11. Uh why has CTP not issued a wind advisory for tomorrow? Gusts 40+ it appears all day long,
  12. Nice! 2.5 here at home in midtown Harrisburg. It’s about done, flake size has really decreased.
  13. I’m a fedora guy. This one from Lock & Co hatters in London, it’s rabbit fur.
  14. Is there a way to make RadarScope not useless for snow?
  15. It's a gorgeous scene out. No roads caving here of course, but it's so beautiful.
  16. Snowing in Hagerstown so the LSV crowd should see it within 2 or so hours.
  17. Now let's hope the end of January brings about positive news!
  18. If rates are good, we might be set up for a nasty commute. I'm just crossing fingers this happens.
