    You’re smarter than me with this stuff, but unless the crazy strong Pacific jet doesn’t let go it’s pretty pointless of anything else isn’t it? Doesn’t that overrride anything else for us to get prolonged cold and snow?

    To my untrained eye looks like the system speeds up just enough so temps don’t cool off quickly enough for anyone in the LSV to see snow. Precip looks super light in general regardless.

    I’ve worn a coat I think 3 days. A jacket has been all the rest. At least last year we had that crazy cold snap around New Years.

    CTP says next Tuesday’s event is nothing for anyone but the Alleghenies if even them, and this weekend is light snow possible. I really might get into late January without an inch of snow

    Dumb luck, right? Sometimes you cash in, some you just miss. Our region had a large precipitation hole in the summer too, but it extended below the border too.

    I’m very drunk (damn habit for humanity fundraiser at Ever Grain brewery) but all these posts are great. @Voyager don’t dare leave - we all value your input and intelligence! We all I think understand as a professional driver winter is by far the worst season but don’t think our joy of snow is anything negative for you!

    Definitely a cold one this a.m. That wind overnight was much stronger than forecast, I had multiple gusts over 36.

    We have snow in Harrisburg. Not a squall but enough to cover side roads.
