Nope. No precip since early this morning, maybe drizzle I haven’t noticed but the sidewalk and roads are dry.

I don’t like disagreeing with CTP but I really don’t see much precip at all hitting MDT. Maybe a tenth of an inch sometime in the mornings but it looks dry after like noon.

It’s been totally dry for hours. Think the rain is all gone for the next several days.

1.1” here. Doubt we get too much more honestly - maybe another .2” but it’ll be mostly drizzly and cold.

Monday will be a really nice day. Perfect Memorial Day imo (it prob won't quite get to 80, but mid to upper 70s down here I think)

They keep delaying the rain start Friday - it's now 4 p.m., was 11 a.m. yesterday morning) and cutting it off earlier Saturday (and overall lowering chances). Interesting.

Those Long Park pics are classic microburst stuff. Impossible to forecast, always hope it hits where no one lives. In this case, it hit a perfect location since it's surrounded by neighborhoods and businesses.

Bonus, unexpected rain is sometimes the best rain. This didn’t add too much - prob less than .10” - but woooo!

The rain was great, heard thunder, saw no lightning, a little wind at the front but nothing over 40.

I watched that hole develop on radar, HBG all the way to you was it before the backside cratered.

Maybe he has one of those electric John Deere things for little kids - those are plastic tires iirc so live on that prayer.

Some of the storms north of HBG have severe warnings with them now.

@Itstrainingtime I should clarify - I'm talking mostly about tornadic or large hail creation storms. Lines definitely can pop, but you usually need discrete for the real scary stuff (Derichos and the like notwithstanding!). The stuff out west isn't lining up really, so someone will get some severe wx around here.
