  1. Getting some light steady rain finally - not just mist/drizzle.
  2. It's so bright out it looks like a sunny day almost. Weird stuff. I'm getting like .01" every other hour. Up to about .07" since midnight, and doubt I hit more than a tenth. Kind of a bummer I've mssed the train the past three days, but glad that Tuesday cell hit me. Sunday night looks like it could bring some moisture.
  3. The rain really won't move north of the turnpike, it's crazy. Edit I should say it's misted/sprinkled quite a bit after the overnight .05", but no "rain" yet.
  4. I feel they are overamping the low just enough - hope I’m dead wrong.
  5. Looks that way! I’m not sold on me getting much rain tomorrow - think the winners today win again tomorrow - but should get a little which will help.
  6. Great summer evening. 82, sunny, low humidity.
  7. What’s crazy is these will not reach HBG I doubt. They’re gonna just sit and sit until they peter out.
  8. FWIW CTP is 30% chance showers today but 60% rain Friday. We’ll see!
  9. Struck out today with rain and CTP doesn’t seem gung ho on precip the next two days now.
  10. This is not moving. Someone is getting hammered.
  11. Tiny cell n Mechanicsburg looks like it’s outing down heavy rates. The thunder from it is quite loud.
  12. How's the course holding up so far with the lack of moisture? Good to see you back!
  13. You're in luck, @Atomixwx is your man then!
  14. Speaking of cicadas ... a plane carrying press to the UK to cover Joe Biden was delayed seven hours yesterday cause the little guys infested the plane. https://www.pennlive.com/nation-world/2021/06/cicadas-overrun-plane-delaying-press-ahead-of-bidens-overseas-trip.html
  15. That general area seems to get a lot of excess rain/storms, it seems. Same with Elcott City, Maryland.
  16. Paging @Jns2183 - JSN2183 to the batphone.
  17. I’ll be in Houston next Thursday through Monday. So perfect timing.
  18. I’d think but they are odd creatures. They only have a few more weeks in their life cycle.
  19. That’s a bit surprising. A friend lives very close to Roundtop and it’s infested there. She posted a video and it’s SO loud. I’ve seen some in the city but not many, but they’re all over the burbs.
  20. It was supposed to have been last November and outside, but Covid killed that idea obviously. So yeah you can't do an outside wedding in June in Texas unless you're out west and it's near sunset. I'll post pics of all the food that helps me survive the heat. What's funny is after a day, I forget about it since I know it'll be hot as hell there and my body remembers I used to be just fine with it.
  21. I'll be in Dallas and Houston next week for a wedding. Let's check in on Houston: It's currently 92/76 Dallas is almost identical to here (so actually cool for them): 84/71
