Is there more predicted to pop up or is it over here if it’s no longer raining? It’s moved past Harrisburg (for now).

It rained lightly this am - very lightly - and we have missed everything since (but it hit the river on west around 12:30). That likely ends very soon as storms progress all afternoon. Heavy cell about to hit head on.

I took the day off, lounged, drank almost a 12 pack of Troegs Haze Charmer and got Devons Seafood curbside. Can’t get better during a pandemic!

One of those southern storms went nuts and moved due north and gave me a heavy burst of rain

CTP answered this for MDT - but the city has been a degree or two warmer all summer. They tweeted: This morning at 6:56 AM the temperature dropped to 69.1 degrees at Harrisburg International Airport (KMDT). This is the first reading below 70F at KMDT since July 18th. It will be noticeably cooler across PA tonight with temps dropping into the 40s in the northern mountains!

I believe so - not sure if I got below 70 in all of July actually. I don't keep records though. Just think - in about six weeks we can start tracking arctic air plunges!

Look at the record bath water in the Atlantic - this won’t be the only tropical storm we see methinks.

MDT has 1.8 or so and the Cap City has 1.3. They're maybe 3 miles apart.

Have about 1.2" it looks like - and it's stopped entirely for the moment.

Might have an hour to hour and a half of light to mod/light rain and that's it left. It's been great, great rain - not too heavy, hardly any wind.

CAPE values for NJ and Long Island are off the wall high. Going to be A LOT of tornadoes today.
