  1. Was going to say the same. Winds cranking up now too. Watching it accumulate and promptly melt on the sidewalk is a fun game. It’s about half-covered. I had hoped this would be my 2nd shovel storm of the season but alas not needed.
  2. That heavy band went poof. Closing in on 3.5” it appears here but it’s melting of pavement at the same time. Ah, March.
  3. Exactly the same. It’s barely snowing now and melting is occurring - sidewalk is mostly clear now. Edit: picked up a bit as I typed
  4. A few good bursts but light stuff mostly. About 1.75” on cold surfaces - maybe .5” on roads here in my neighborhood.
  5. I’m at 10.2” for the year. This damn storm will addd 3/4 or so of that total within 12 hours. March be wild. This post brought to you by Hendricks.
  6. Yea ya gotta stop with that nickname - it ain’t going to stick. I think somewhere up near Pottsville wins out. Elevation will help,
  7. The gulf is open for this. Someone is getting 8” in this region. Giddy the f up.
  8. Feeling this is a 5-7” event for me. Measuring will be impossible unfortunately but I think around 10 am it’ll be about her heaviest snow we ever get.
  9. 62 here today. Monday looks like it’ll be back in the mid to upper 50s. All year we have had cold air then a storm brought in warm air that killed all our snow. Now we have extremely warm air and a storm is bringing arctic air and that will create a bombing low to put in moisture in the form of snow. And it’s March. Go figure.
  10. Maybe it’s a pavement forecast? Maybe I could see only a few inches on roads with recent temps and tomorrow’s wind.
  11. Yesterday I said this was a solid 3" event for MDT. I think we have a good shot at getting 5", but will be impossible to measure with blowing snow. Leave it to March for the best event of the entire season.
  12. This seems like a solid 3” or so event for MDT. Might even get road coverage with rates.
  13. Always go less - you’ll hardly ever be wrong.
  14. Baseball has an agreement. Opening day is April 7. Huzzah!
  15. Looks like 20-30 sustained with gusts near 40 for hours.
  16. You know I have to mention it - gonna be windy af Saturday afternoon and night.
  17. I thiiiiink the rain would’ve made the pre treatment useless. and I had a low of 29. There goes my no subfreezing temps for 10 days lol
  18. Nothing at all downtown. It snowed for an hour or so but didn't even stick to a Dumpster. Wife says however in midtown most stuff was covered except roads.
  19. Ignore this post if you don’t want to publicly answer, but are you working as a met for a private firm or anything?
  20. Looking forward to the snowglobe tomorrow - expecting zero accumulation except maybe cold cars and metal roofs. Saturday looks nasty with strong strong winds snd rain.
