    What a dweeb. But as the earth continues to warm weather will continue to get more violent. We have seen extreme events every year now in America and it’ll just increase. Hell a standard squall line here now can throw down 60 mph winds like it’s no big deal. That’s not normal.

    No reason to waste time doing so until late this week. It’s a dead week across the entire eastern half of the county.

    Baseball players’ salaries have progressively decreased while owner revenue has escalated. There was zero reason for a lockout.

    Seems right. It snows where it snows and we haven’t had much so we are looking dead ahead at the end of winter. But I bet spring is cold and rainy!

    A brilliantly sunny morning. Windy though - gusting to 30ish.

    Completely dry down here. The wind yesterday dried off most the rain / puddles.We we’re out 2-3 h on re last night and never came across anything slippery.

    The new season to me has totally jumped the shark.

    The next 7 days weather wise are dead. That puts is at mid February. We are running out of chances quick for a real winter. I’m sitting at 9.6” snow. Pitiful.

    I picked up a sixer of Sam Adams Cold Snap at Wegmans for my evening entertainment. Well that and the Olympic opening ceremonies. Always need to take advantage of the opportunity to laugh at every country’s costumed.

    The feeder rivers into the Susquehanna are mighty high. Took a drive around late this afternoon. Snow is all gone everywhere. Booooo.

    Rain down toward Chambersburg looks too heavy to cause accretion. I'm still at 33. Have had around 1.4" rain from this system. Too bad the temps crash 12 hours AFTER it basically wraps up. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

    I thought I still had a snowpile but turns out it was just a white plastic bag that had been blown into the yard.

    Nevermind about the long pause in rain - it's raining again. That kinda popped up out of nowhere. Temp rose a degree to 33. I think 33 and rain is my favorite weather!

    Next weekend I won't be surprised if we're flirting with the 60s.

    Rain appears to be done here for a long while. Next little batch is just east of Altoona but it might miss to the NW. Finally down to 32.

    Precip will shut off just about as the temp goes below freezing here (currently 34). As expected, warm air wins. CTP did damn good with this tricky forecast.
