  1. 37 degrees here in East Texas. Probably hit 76 for a high. A nice early spring day here.
  2. It was very brief so probably was just a radar hiccup or weird cell
  3. Small hook on radar right north of Linglestown. @Anduril and @Blizzard of 93plz report HBG/CH recon!
  4. Well the warm air mixed down in Harrisburg so heads up. I unplugged my wind meter before we left - dumb move.
  5. Just got off a very rough flight - the atmosphere is juiced. It just depends on how much warmth works down there. I’m not sold on anything too crazy but if it heats up then all bets are off. Think the border south is a bigger threat but I haven’t seen any models or guidance since last night
  6. Heard from a good source the cause of that horrific 81 accident was a woman was going to miss the exit and yanked her wheel to go from the outside lane to the exit, causing the truck in the right lane to slam its brakes and jackknife.
  7. Today iirc was the 3rd WAA this year I've been in with zero precip.
  8. Y'all be safe. Had planned to fly down tomorrow but had to push back to Thursday for work reasons. For once I am lucking out and missing the good ol' late March/early April spinning storms in DFW.
  9. Especially late March/early April. We are there this time every year and for the past 8 have been in tornado warnings during our visit. Looks like we'll avoid major storms this time by a day or two on each side.
  10. I know you'll be licking your phone screen at my FB food porn.
  11. Looking at Dallas weather for our visit later this week (thankfully going Thursday and not tomorrow or today - yikes). Close to 70 Thursday than upper 70s each day. Lows around 50-55.
  12. Ya not seeing a big outbreak up here. Don’t think it warms up enough to destabilize the atmosphere here Thursday afternoon. The rain during the day probably saves us.
  13. Bottomed out at 24 and still there. SPC going al in on severe storms tomorrow in the LA/MS area.
  14. Hm, this story says at least 3 fatalities. https://www.pennlive.com/news/2022/03/coroner-called-to-massive-pile-up-on-i-81-in-schuylkill-county.html
  15. Never did get a squall here and the sun's been out for 2 or so hours. I'm thankful honestly, those are scary.
  16. Oh, for sure. But remember people after a plane crash carry off their giant overstuffed rollerboards while people are on fire still. People are selfish assholes.
  17. Also I'm skeptical on us getting any severe here Thursday evening. I think you need to be SE of Lancaster to have a shot - but I can see some strong wind coming across with that front even this far north.
  18. He's in a state of shock, that event is too large to even begin to understand to anyone who had their car pushed off the road and is listening to trucks going 60 rear end one another. Anyone filming in this situation gets a pass IMO. It's why they're all next to their cars and not up in the woods. Even in the woods there you're not entirely safe. Like I said earlier, nightmare fuel stuff.
