  1. Happy Solstice. Can we get some f'n snow PLEASE???
  2. Why is it still blowing a gale. It was supposed to have calmed.
  3. 41 mph was my max gust today. Lots and lots over 35. It’s calmed down quite a bit tonight.
  4. This is it, definitely. We haven’t had winter since f’n 2019.
  5. Lots of damage in New England from heavy rain + wind. Trees down many places and a friend in NH roof is gone.
  6. Have to go to Saratoga Springs Friday and come back Saturday. Anyone with a model access want to tell me if it is dry?
  7. 2.7" or so here. Winds starting up now. Fuck the wind. Edit: CTP's forecast discussion says BUFKIT soundings have winds between 40-50 all night.
  8. Drive home tonight from IAD suuuucked. It’s so damn foggy too. And cool - 40 mph winds all afternoon and night tomorrow? I’m going back to London.
  9. Someone wanna drop off a boat for us at Dulles tomorrow? kthnx
  10. Huh we fly back Sunday afternoon to DC. Is there a real nor’easter that day? If so, sh1t.
  11. “No chance of precip today and warm”. It rained all day and was 44 and windy. They have no idea what to forecast. It’s fascinating.
  12. England should hire @paweather, @Bubbler86 and @pasnownut as meteorologists cause the weather forecasts here are a joke.
  13. 52 was the high here in London - picture-perfect day. Here’s the White Tower from the Tower of London earlier today, in lieu of snow pics. Tomorrow looks to be a gully washer here, maybe even with rare thunder.
  14. Late nooners from Mayfair in London - 51 and pouring rain. Weather is so bad a lot if the train network is down including every line to and from Heathrow. That was a bumpy flight across the Atlantic and the mod turbulence as we flew through the L pressure center.
  15. Nooners in HBG - clouds, heavy fog still and 44. Quite a few accidents on 81 due to the fog in Cumberland and Dauphin counties.
  16. Yea people are so dumb. Thankfully all 4 Covid tests since Tuesday are negative - it’s on the tail end of symptoms thankfully. I hadn’t had a cold on several years and forgot how much they suck the life out of you for a day.
  17. We escape American this evening. I have a cold so am taking disease back to England since they introduce it to us. Huzzah!
  18. Yeah if I were in the LSV I'd bet good money against seeing a snowflake fall Sunday or Monday.
  19. Winds overnight Sunday look 35-45 mph too. If it does snow for anyone, blowing snow will be an issue.
