  1. Tom, I had a feeling you would chime in, You would be in the know being involved in forestry more so then me.
  2. Tough to say, Its my sons and Daughter in laws, But they live less the 2 min from me so were there quite a bit, They just bought the house last Aug, But its heated and it was opened in April this year and they will close it next month before the leaf and acorn onslaught, This year it was at least 3 days/wk from May on.
  3. Pools are awesome though, You'll get if figured out, It won't take long, Chlorine is your friend, Rain and pool activity play a big role in keeping it clear, Rain has been quite acidic and will mess with the PH levels.
  4. The only reason its shows normal here is because of June/July, Augdust has been dry.
  5. The have a frog skimmer lid in there now so its been good, They get themselves out.
  6. Yes, We've had caterpillars in there as well the last month or so, Frogs are a problem as well if we don't get them out in time.
  7. The company's up here stopped taking pool orders as there 12-15 mos out.
  8. Lot of trees around, The Acorns, Leafs and Pine Needles are a problem, Its a battle on the phosphates and the PH, But we have a handle on it now.
  9. There were some very lean winters back in those years, Some very bad ones.
  10. We had to do the same at my boys, The green Algae got established, Shock and algecide, Back to crystal clear.
  11. I don't think you or I will be alive when and if that would happen.
