  1. May have been another one here too but it was back in the early 70's i think.
  2. Just went back and looked in Kevin W's snow charts thread, 12/25/17 we had a surprise 12.5" storm as we had contemplated cancelling a family party that year, But we still went and i remember coming home late evening and having to clean the yard half cocked...............

  7. Last night was a great example of being in the valley surrounded by elevation, My temp was 25°F where all the surrounding stations with elevation were in the mid to high 30's and why i can radiate with the best of them at times with a HP up north draining cold SSW and no wind.

Nobody has spiked a thing as far as i know, But throwing up OP runs and taking that verbatim this far out is really foolish and pointless as well as making assumptions of its going to weak because some of the last ones were, These SWFE's tend to favor some areas over others in most cases, But there are exceptions too, The air mass is another big issue too, Its marginal, That's why i have just monitored the ensembles to see where there heading.

  10. Most know this, Some take model output as outcome even this far out.
  11. One of the only times i like seeing yellows and golds on a map other then a radar.
  12. Sometimes you need to sniff the taint to get the goods, Snow that is, ha ha.
