  1. NO, It starts Dec 1st, So in SNE last year, When did it start?
  2. Yes it does, Does it count when there's snow on the ground and the grinch wipes it out?
  3. Once in a lifetime story here, I’ve only heard of one other. Please note: graphic pictures of harvested deer in this post. A once in a thousand lifetime opportunity arose for our Shop Supervisor Mark Lohmann while hunting in Maine last Saturday. Mark came across a big buck with his head lowered to the ground which appeared to be fighting another buck. Mark had a good shot and harvested it. Come to find out, the two bucks had antlers locked in mortal combat, and the buck on the ground was recently deceased due to a broken neck. Game wardens were immediately notified, and it was determined that the venison from the grounded buck would go to the state for hunger relief organizations, but Mark could tag the buck he shot and keep the trophies. Congratulations to Mark Lohmann!
  4. Yes, That's when we like to kick off winter, With everything that's happened in the last 10 weeks here for me anyways, I'm not going to get in the woods this year for hunting but it would be good if we can get winter started around T-giving week and into the first part of Dec before and if we have an AN period before reloading towards the end of Dec for a change.
  5. One should expect a period in december where is going to be warm, Typical Nino, Don't know why some would be shocked by it, We could have bad luck the whole month even if there's a favorable period.
  6. Kind of defeats the purpose of the cover it doesn't it though?
  7. The tarp is not going to last either, If you do decide, Pay the extra and get the higher price one, All the less expensive covers are toast in a few years, I have a 32x12x10 and my first cover lasted 21 years and in 2015, I replaced it and no issues with this one either i have now, (8yrs), I think though it depends on where you have them, Mine is on the north side of the house so the sun doesn't heat the crap out of the cover.
  8. I use Moultrie trail cams, I have 4 of them that are good. https://www.moultriefeeders.com/
  9. The cutters in those years you mentioned wiped the slate clean where i thought we were off to the races, I think it was Christmas 2017 here where we got close to 12" of snow, I remember we almost had to postpone a family party that day but i remember going for a few hours before having to go home and snow blow the driveway.
  10. 22.8°F was the low this morning, Back to back low 20's the last two days.
  11. Dud Decembers seem to be gaining traction of being the norm no matter what ENSO state were in.
  12. I think there was an accumulation criteria though, I was thinking 3"? So it would've probably not been met anyways ha ha.
  13. The good news is in all this, SNE will miss the Oct snow jinx this year.........................
  14. Everyone's favorite, Cold and Dry, Cracked skin season.
  15. Never even saw one here or on the streets last night in my travels, Community is still in shock it seems.
  16. Looks like the coldest night so far this fall on tap tonight, 34.7/27°F.
  17. I have my numbers somewhere by month but have a lot going on to say the least but Dec typically here i think off the top of my head is in the 18-20"/mos, So when you lose that, Its an uphill climb to get to avg.
