I was actually supposed to get mine tomorrow but took the kid to her doc to get her first dose yesterday and they gave me my booster while I was there (her doc is my doc too). Worked out as I have today to be lazy and relax vs dealing with this on Tuesday and trying to work. Hope your side effects are mild!

Also, got my booster yesterday and blah. Chills last night, whole body is sore and tired this morning.

Sorry for your loss, friend. Holidays are always tough when one has lost a loved one. But glad you got to go do that and feel a little joy. We are heading to Stewartstown, PA tonight for their tree lighting, and support some dancers from my daughters dance studio. The dance studios creative director quit just before thanksgiving, and we have a holiday show next weekend. All those kids without a director, just before the holidays and a show to boot. I’m happy to go support them and enjoy a little holiday cheer.

@Baltimorewx and I just discussed the GFS and Canadian, in person, together. Like the weather nerds that we are. Not sure what LWX is seeing, the GFS is a lakes cutter (lol at backend snow) Canadian is so different with a gulf low that pops overhead. weird.

i believe its due to the squeeze between the warm front that will give us our 60 degree temps today, and the cold front approaching later tonight. winds out of the west mostly, so its a big downslope event for places with higher elevations.

I think thats a fair assessment. Only thing Westminster has going for it over me is just being further west. It never fails that the snow/sleet/rain line during marginal events sets up over my place, so I ride the line and mix, while places west stay all snow. Not that I care. Snow is snow. I'm happy for you! Being on the costal plain sucks, I remember it growing up in AA county. Was so happy to move to a place with elevation and better climo for snow.

yeah, of course it needs to be cold for it to snow. but even the most marginal of events, you and highstakes always do well where you're at. I just assume his location will be the same.
